Id agree with this. Theres no denying Moult is our talisman and a fantastic striker and whilst without him its no surprise weve lost our edge, but surely we should still look like we know where the goal is and not completely collapse! Im quite surprised many fans seem to have accepted well just stumble through December losing virtually every game because theres no Moult! Or striking options in Bowman and Fisher at the moment with Moult out are embarrassing and simply not up to it to the extent that young guys miles out their depth have been thrown in to try and save us.

Prior to the wheels coming off our bus, with the erracticness of Rangers current form, we might have been cautiously optimistic of getting something from this game. Not now however. Cant see past a defeat here and possibly a heavy one.

When was the last time we won 1 game in 11? Every team could point to injuries etc at any given time yet most manage to avoid that stat. First 3 league games back after the split are Ross County, Hearts and Hibs!!!!

We now appear to have risked injured players to scrape a point at home to Dundee and now theyre all injured again! Was that worth it? Are we just going to stumble through December, effectively writing off 6/7 games? Cos that could absolutely kill us. 1 point from 12 in 4 games v hearts, Thistle, Killie and Dundee is piss poor and potentially damaging return. Im struggling to remember such a shitey points haul. I said after tynecastle we wouldnt win another game in 2017 and I fear Im going to be right. It certainly does. Looks like its another relegation dogfight this season which is what most of us probably expected in the summer but after the start we had it couldve (shouldve?) possibly been avoided.

Even with Moult, a fully fit team and even a modest return of points from the past few games winning the next 3 on the bounce would be an extremely tall order. Dundee have taken 9 from 12. We were miles ahead of them and now a win here will see them right behind us. Rangers at ibrox is never a fixture we prevail in. Accies are inexplicably excelling this season and have taken points of everyone lately. The run were on at the moment is equal to any of the shite weve endured in the past 3 seasons. I honestly can see us not winning another game in 2017. That would then be 1 win in 11 and Im not suggesting for a second that I want this, but managers have been sacked for less. Really really hope Im wrong.

Everyone thought we would lose today and they duly didnt disappoint but by the sounds of it we were very unlucky and were well worth a point. Im not really been interested in hard luck stories at the moment though and our first half v Thistle is now looking even worse than it did at the time. Its been some week thats for sure, and within the space of it weve pretty much undone all the good early season work, allowed teams we were recently miles ahead of over take us and/or be now virtually breathing down our necks. Make no mistake, were now in another dogfight and it shows how much the missing players had been carrying the others. 1 win 8, 3 points from 24!! 2 of which include 2 3-0 first half capitulation to the 2 teams rooted at the bottom of the league unable to buy a win! What a collapse!

At least its only 1-0 at ht today! Wednesdays result looking even worse as Dundee show just how poor Thistle are.

In light of the news about the injuries, Id play Griffiths Tait Kipre McHugh Hammell Grimshaw Bigirimana Campbell Frear (or McLean) Tanner Bowman (or Fisher, neither inspire me) That team surely should be good enough to score a goal and/or shitfest their way to a point? Cant see past another defeat. Ill keep my powder dry until the final whistle before I go off on one!

Carson, Hartley, Cadden and obviously Moult still injured and will miss tomorrows game according to Robinson which is hugely disappointing as Im sure he indicated they should be back for tomorrow prior to the Thistle game. Frear also facing a late fitness test. It never rains but it pours!

Semi final goals could possibly be in my top 3 moments of supporting Motherwell. Certainly top 5. 4 goals v Accies Last minute equalizer v Accies Shoulder goal v Accies Double v Celtic at Parkhead Double v Celtic in the 4-3 game, the first of which was one of the best goals youll ever see. Curled goal v Hearts 2nd goal at Pittodrie recently. Header v Rangers in the cup. V Aberdeen when we won 2-1 and he nicked in. Theres probably others Ive forgotten. Added to that he seemed a thoroughly nice guy and seemed more than happy to get involved with favs events etc. A massive loss but we fortunate to witnessed him play for us and Im sure well be looking out for Prestons results from now on.
