I actually do think our season would’ve been very different had fans been allowed in as normal, some of the performances both individually and collectively just would not have been accepted. However, as you say it’s been the same everywhere and other teams have managed to be less shambolic and adapted accordingly.

So the big question is who is behind the recruitment as they need binned pronto.

Unless we have a Lazarus-esque recovery from Gallagher, Campbell, Donnelly, O’Hara and Lawless etc I just don’t see how we’re getting out of this now, and even with them back it’s still a big ask.

Question is, do we keep Alexander if we go down? We were on a hiding to nothing with the injuries today but sticking with 433 was just ludicrous! You would’ve thought we might have at least tried to make ourselves hard to beat. Apparently not... Was Alexander behind the January signings? If so would you trust him with a rebuild? Where did we find clown shoes Chapman? Was it via the same system that identified the January signings? The whole squad is rotten to the core and many of us detected a whiff of this months ago and were dismissed. We’ve got 1 or 2 max who give a shit and the rest of them are a disgrace to the profession. Unless many of these mysteries injuries clear up from Wednesday onwards this team is taking us down as there’s barely a player among them you’d want in the trenches. As I said in my original post, regardless of circumstances, we need 6 points minimum pre-split. We’ll probably need minimum 6 points post split also in order to finish no lower than 10th.

Need to wait and see. I seriously hope I’m wrong with my points gained prediction but the growing injury list has only lessened our chances of the required haul.
