  1. Bigirimana and Tanner deserve their starting places today. Lets hope they take advantage of them.
  2. It was absolutely ridiculous wasnt it? I imagine no-one called it out because they all jumped on the bandwagon of self preservation. They had to deflect as much as they could from Rangers being knocked out.
  3. Ha! I remember that from the mid/early 80s when I started going to the games! Everyone gathered round a programme to check the scores at half time! Why didnt they just read out the team names?
  4. Absolutely laughable from that scumbag. So according to him if a player commits 3 or 4 fouls they should be booked? Thatll be McGinn in the book straight off the bat then as he had at least 3 nailed on yellow card offences yesterday! Nobody in the media will have the gumption or bottle to point that out though.
  5. On the basis on the past 2 games I think Tanner, Bigirimana and Tait should start. Tait should probably have started yesterday. Frear was decent at Dens but yesterday developed into a bit of a battle which we wouldve benefitted from Taits abilities more. The midfield trio of Campbell, McHugh and Rose had got us to a cup final and 3rd in the league but now might benefit from a bit more creativity. Who drops out, I dont know.
  6. Fair enough. I look forward to him laughing at and goading the Copeland Road stand......
  7. Based on the past 2 league games, and certainly yesterday I think Tanner, Bigirimana and Tait should all start v Ross County. Not sure at whose expense though!
  8. Didnt realise at the time just how bad the defending was for the goal or what a great chance it was for the new player whose name I dont know how to say yet was. He has to put it near post surely? Was the goal we did score 100% offside? Im not sure. Special word for Madden. Let constant kicking the ball away from Hibs continue and for whatever reason failed to book McGinn for about 3 stonewall yellow cards. His laughing at the East Stand shows exactly what hes all about. Rangers released a statement for less!!!
  9. It was a game of 2 halves. Piss poor and completely overrun in the first half but probably deserved a point on the basis of the second half. Had a feeling it wasnt going to be our day. Subs made a difference and definitely could/should be in line for a start next time out. Disappointing but not distraught.
  10. Tough game this, hopefully Campbell and Rose come back in. I dont think Hibs have looked amazing this season despite the media desperate to big up Lennon. That said, I wouldnt be unhappy with a point.
  11. Definitely but we then missed him in midfield. I know a few folk, including myself, had been critical of his passing, even suggesting a spell on the bench, but we missed his dig in midfield when he went into defence last night.
  12. My man love for Louis Moult knows no limits but he absolutely HAS to lift his head and square it to Fisher at the end of the game. The best players make sure the bell ends up in the net irrespective of who gets the last touch. His strike partner is also in dire need of a goal. Cant believe I just criticized Louis Moult!
  13. Thats the most Ive shouted at a ref in years. Some of the challenges Dundee put in in the first half were atrocious. They were literally rolling about after any aerial challenge also. Thoroughly unlikeable team. The ref lost the plot and that pass back decision was inexplicable! We shouldve had a penalty second half and Bigirimana and Moult both missed excellent chances at the end. Not the most polished performance and the subs didnt necessarily work but a great win, even more so after Sundays exertions. I thought Fisher was excellent.
  14. This ref is a fucking joke. Absolutely brutal. First 30 minutes we destroyed them.
  15. Dundee have had 2 booked and had at least 2 other shockers! But were a dirty team apparently!! I expect Motherwell to release a statement in the morning.....
  16. I would agree with all that. The response from many is beyond parody with comments in the Herald suggesting Bowman should be drug tested as he is wild unhinged lunatic!! Celtic fans weighing in too after he apparently tried to break Tierneys leg last season. All from fans who have watched Lee McCulloch and Scott Brown, to name but two, in their teams in recent years. Yes, Cardissa took a sore one, but so did Moult, which has been virtually ignored. These things happen in contact sports and not just in the 1980s as St Brendan ridiculously suggested. The Rangers statement is jaw dropping. Beyond parody, and sadly the vast majority of their supporters will get right behind it. They seem to release a statement every time they lose s big game. This is the response when a wee team upsets the natural order and a compliant media only stoke it up further.
  17. Hes absolutely batted everything out the park and then some. Id love to see the reporters faces as he drove a bus through their pish agenda.
  18. Absolutely superb press conference from Robinson there. Fantastic put down to that clown of a rangers manager and a great dig as those who appear to be disappointed weve made the final. Great rebuttal to the suggestion that Bowman is a dirty player backed up with stats. Fuck them all!!!
  19. I fear we may toil here due to the physical and emotional exertions of Sunday.
  20. Exactly! The chat from yesterday should all be about Moults goal and our wonderful achievement in reaching the final with a team only assembled in the summer, but this is what the media do when a wee team has the the temerity to upset the natural order a deny them their tedious bigoted showpiece final!
  21. Lol! Nice to put a face to the name! I really did enjoy it, as Im sure we all did. I was actually fairly relaxed about yesterday, it was a free hit and nothing like the pressure of the play offs. I thought we had a decent chance do it isnt actually a complete surprise that we won. No matter what happens in the final well never forget yesterday.
