I really like how Robinson speaks, how he identifies areas of the team that need strengthened and in general the cut of his jib and I think it is important to like your manager and buy into what he's trying to achieve. I really hope, for many reasons, that he does well. It would also be preferable if we had a manager that was here for a few seasons. Cannae be sacking/changing managers every season.

They authorities long since gave up the presence that they are impartial. Not only have they been drawn at home, they've also never had a top 6 team and on the odd occasion they have been drawn away, it's certainly never to Pittodrie, Easter Road etc. They home ties they've had since they died have been incredible. Not that I'm paranoid.....

It is a concern at the moment, absolutely. Interesting that our conversion rate dropped significantly in the past 2 games when our game plan seemed to be to get the ball wide and get crosses in. We were much more effective when we were passing and moving through the middle in the first 2 games.

Early days, but I'd agree about Fisher. And Bowman for that. And with Moult not fit yet and/or leaving and possibly Heneghan and Hammell now injured we've got a few issues to say the least even at this early stage.

As Lobey Dosser says, if Erwin has his head screwed on, then potentially a very good signing for Killie. Whilst I would've definitely taken him back at Motherwell and it's a bit annoying he's signed for a direct peer, were we even in for him? It's also difficult to justify bringing him in whilst we still have Moult (for now), Fisher and Bowman (regardless of whether we rate them or not) No point mentioning Blythe as whilst he'll continue to steal a wage from us I'm quite confident we'll never see him in a Motherwell shirt again.

That's disappointing. Much better option than Bowman or Fisher appear to be.

A couple of papers reporting that McDonald is about to sign for Dundee Utd. If so, a bit disappointing he's went to another Scottish club, but won't directly affect us at least, unless we get them in the cup, as we almost certainly will now!
