  1. I’ve given up trying to predict exact Motherwell scores but injuries or not, by hook or by crook, we need another 6 points minimum before the split. I’ve no idea where those points will come from but I could easily envisage us taking as little as 0-2.
  2. Unless any of the new guys are fit it’ll need to be a back four of Johnston, O’Hara, Lamie and Carroll then.
  3. Lawless was meant to be back in 2-3 weeks 2-3 weeks ago was he not? Now it’s TBC. Be lucky to see him again before the split! Fuck sake! I honestly don’t think we’ll see Gallagher in claret and amber again. It’s either rotten timing or something else but either way it’s the last thing we need in our current situation with your captain and most competent centre half.
  4. If Gallagher returns next Saturday and plays his part in keeping us up I’ll eat my words and accept I called it wrong but for me there is definitely something in the timing of this injury that seems very suspicious.
  5. Despite having about 17 defenders on our books our defence could be an absolute riot for this due to injury and suspension. Got to pray Gallagher is back then he could partner O’Hara which would actually be my first choice pairing anyway. If not, god help us. Watt could be suspended for this one also. It never rains but it pours. Really need to pull something out the hat here but can’t see it.
  6. I’m not buying “the sending off killed us”. I mean it probably severely damaged our ability to win the game but it shouldn’t have meant we completely collapsed and ended up 4-0 down! How many times do you see a team go down to 10 men and the other team completely struggle to get any joy with the numerical advantage? Even yesterday Dundee Utd had a man sent off and they went up the park and scored 2 minutes later! Our failings are down to Alexander not making a decision/substitution quicker a d also our players once again buckling at the slightest sign of any adversity.
  7. Had an assist for their 4th due to a shanked non clearance up the line.
  8. The lack of fight and heart as well as ability has been a problem since day one this season and is a major factor in why we are where we are. That’s before you get onto the players who don’t want to be here and are merely going through the motions. Then you’ve got the injury list which we added to in January. Them you’ve got the bench which contains not a single player who can affect the game positively in our favour when coming on.
  9. Ha ha! Feel free to disagree that today won’t be pivotal. Time will tell. The defence and midfield are a riot and a quick glance at our bench today should raise many questions about January’s business. Something extremely fishy about Gallaghers situation also.
  10. Time will tell just how costly this shocker today will be but it really could be pivotal. Losing such a massive 6 pointer in such a manner at home is unacceptable and the ramifications could be huge. I for one can’t wait to see the back of the many many wage thieves we currently are having to suffer. The run of games coming up are all crucial and also difficult to see where the wins are going to come from. to keep us up St Johnstone away? Hibs? Livingston?
  11. The more things change the more they stay the same. Alexander is now the latest in a long line of managers unable to motivate the players to turn up v Accies. That today was as embarrassing a home result as we’ve had in recent years.
  12. This is it in a nutshell. Someone is going to have to explain why in our situation we signed umpteen players but emerged from the January window relying on the dross that go us into this mess in the first place. All we have done is increase the wage bill and the physios work.
  13. A lot of big talk in the build up to this game from management and players is just nothing but bullshit. Media team would be aswell giving any post match content a wide berth this week.
  14. O’Donnell is bang average and isn’t interested.
  15. Is this worse than the “Chapman” new year game? I’d say it is.
  16. Ok Time for some of the myriad of signings we made to take the place of this shower. The ones that weren’t instantly injured at least.
  17. Time for some of the myriad of signings we made to take the place of this shower. The ones that weren’t instantly injured at least.
  18. Could’ve all but ended any real danger of automatic relegation today but they’ve shat in the nest v a team that are constantly bottom but always have our number. Utter garbage doesn’t even begin to cover it.
  19. Utter joke. Giving them 9 points has kept them up.
  20. O’Hara in for Crawford is probably I change I would’ve suggested also. Smith not in squad now either. Lawless, Gallagher, Foley, Nolan, Grimshaw all presumably injured?
  21. Just keen to get as much daylight between ourselves and 11th as possible and then see where that takes us. The players owe us for the last shocker v Accies also.
  22. Struggling to think of another team who sign so many instantly injured players.
  23. Lamie starts again. No sign of Nolan or Foley. Lawless and Gallagher still injured I presume.
