Jules mistake gets worse every time I see it. I've watched it a few times trying to understand what his thinking might have been and I honestly can't work out what he was trying to do. You heard the whole crowd groan when he inexplicably at the last minute stopped it from going out. Did McGhee watch this guy before he was signed or get him on a recommendation? Either way, surely after a single training session it would've been obvious he wasn't a footballer. He should've gone the way of Belic and never even darkened the bench. Hell mend Robinson for playing him again. Total laughing stock.

Agreed. I, and possibly many others also, feel that the time for screaming and shouting has now been and gone. That was back in September/October when the alarms at the trajectory we were on were beginning to go off. The only thing that's going to get us out of this is fight, bottle and belief and it blatantly obvious none of our team posses these qualities. I do think the fans and players have accepted their/our fate and it's horrible to watch.

We're down for sure and at this rate it could be straight down. When the post split fixtures were announced we couldn't have hand picked them better ourselves. We have now lost the opening 2 games of these which were both at home. Absolutely unforgivable! There was an air today after the calamitous blunder that suggested everyone else m the stadium knew the game was up. Don't think I've ever seen a more talentless, gutless insipid team. Jules, Bowman and Clay were the dubs today. What were they ever going to do to save the day?!?! I don't expect our subs to be world beaters but I do expect them to be better than me!!

All ifs, buts and maybes and I might be slightly out, but I think if we lose v Ross County and Accies beat Inverness, if we then lose v Accies the following week and if Dundee have picked up more than 1 point in their two games over the same period, then we'll be on the play offs. Not that I've been thinking about it.

I can see that scenario playing out.

Everything about Saturday, the result, the performance, the tactics, the same mistakes being made by the same players, has pretty much extinguished any belief I had that we'll be anything other than a Championship team next season. Away win of some description. We live in hope of course......

Any decent midfielder worth their salt should be able to deputise at right back even for a few games. Right/left back are hands down the easiest positions to play. You don't need to be Dani Alves or Cafu. Just keep it simple, defend and clear your lines.

We've been making them since game 1. There's been no progression at any point this season. Samson spilled a tame shot with 5 minutes to go in game 2 v St Johnstone as a taster of what's to come and error ridden ineptitude since then. Same shite every week in every week out. 2 successive managers have failed to address any of the glaringly obvious weaknesses that everyone can see. We're now in 11th spot and there's 4 games to go and it isn't going to change in those games.

If you've got the right players it might work.

Great post. You're right. 2 weeks to prepare and that's what we come I with? Dundee had scored 2 goals, conceding 17, in their previous 7 games, which were all defeats! They've taken 10 points off us this season and scored 10 goals. We're a fucking joke.

The clear out in the summer needs to be extensive and wide reaching and if we're relegated should include the manager (especially as the post split fixtures couldn't have been better if we'd hand picked them ourselves!) and the people who appointed the previous 2 as well.

Nice one Andy! I'll take that parting shot as a compliment. We're beyond "must win". We can't defend and it's "can't win". Falkirk, Utd or Morton must be rubbing their hands together at the prospect of playing us in the play offs. Put your money of a "Samson special" to seal our fate. We can't say we didn't see it coming.
