6-1 now then eh?
-
Poor poor show. Could easily turn in to a drubbing as I feared.
-
2-0 now. I know there's nothing at stake but I hope it doesn't turn into a gubbing.
-
Brilliant! Decent 'Well support there too!
-
Wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Hearts or Aberdeen put a bid in for McDonald. Hope not and he re-signs right enough.
-
An excellent and unexpected (for me at least) 3 points. I understand that there isn't too much to play for but I'll never turn my nose up at a win, especially against a team that have been more than decent all season.
-
I would agree with all that.
-
Would hate to see Hutchy turn play for another Scottish team. He could surely get a game for another English team? I noticed Hunphrey hasn't played for Preston for a while and I don't think Grimshaw has even kicked a ball for them yet!!
-
He didn't have a bad game but was also once again nowhere near his man allowing Tierney to put the cross in for the first goal.

The desired outcome of the day has been achieved but that was really poor stuff at times save for a wee spell when we equalised. First half in particular was shocking from us. Whether that was down to Celtic being good or deliberate instruction from McGhee to sit back and almost invite pressure! Only a number of good to great stops from Ripley kept the score respectable. 2nd half was much better but a really bad mistake from Ripley should've been easily stopped. For me we never looked like we were ever getting anything from the game and I thought Gomis in particular was awful. I'd be happier to see Leitch take his place till Pearo is back. Still, sitting here fairly content with how the day panned out!

I was actually fairly confident that we would make the top 6 even when we lost today as there was too many variables to mean we would miss out. Every other result went our way in the end. Top 6 achieved with virtually no stress. Now the race for Europe!!!! (Which is a nice race, as opposed to the race we were in last season!)
-
Whilst I'll be disappointed if we now don't make the top 6 (especially for the financial aspect) I would've bit your hand off to even just stay 10th or above after the Killie game only 2 months ago. We now look like we've achieved that (anyone confirm?) so I'm fairly relaxed for a change! It would be absolutely rotten luck for all the 6 results to come up when we needed only 1 to fail but if we can't now finish in the bottom 2 I'll try not to be too annoyed in by 5pm Saturday we are in fact in the bottom 6.
-
Fuck sake!! Would be rotten luck if we now missed out but only ourselves to blame for failing to pick up extra points ourselves.
-
Anything from this game is a bonus. Not expecting to get anything but just hope we don't get gubbed. Heading along though and looking forward to it. Heading to a game and actually looking forward to it?!?! What a time to live!! Massive credit to the manager and players for turning things around.

Makes a change for us to score right at the death! Absolutely brilliant. What a turnaround in the last 6/7 games. I was panicking, I believe I may have suggested so.....
-
I still think Utd will get out of this (via the play offs obviously)
-
I feel a bit sheepish (no pun intended) about what I've said about McGhee at times and I still don't know if I'll ever really warm to him but the main thing is he's got us out of jail and in my defence, anything/everything I've ever said is borne out of nothing other than genuine concern for the club. Delighted to be proven wrong and perhaps in the future I'll try to moan less, or at least hang fire. Not making any promises though!......
-
It's been some turn around since the Killie game. No one will be surprised to hear I didn't see this coming!
-
You absolute dancer!!!
-
Missing the game today due to work. How are we playing? Results elsewhere aren't really our way but even if it stays as it is everywhere the league table doesn't look too bad I suppose. The main thing being that Killie lost earlier.
-
I agree. £10 per month is a bit more of a commitment, especially on a low income, but £5 a month is surely doable and if enough folk do that and local businesses contribute more then it could be done. The club are going to need to roll out the legends to promote this though. Faddy, Dougie, Tommy Coyne, Wullie P etc to persuade those who haven't signed up to get on board. A sound business strategy and regular/clear communication would also help.....
-
So we need another 1500 fans to chip in a fiver a month to secure the future of their/our club? Surely tae fuck that can be done?! That's £1.25 a week! That buys you nothing nowadays.
-
Wasn't expecting much from this game before the injuries and/or virus and expect even less now! I see this game as a sort of "free go" and provided Killie lose and we don't get pumped we can hopefully regroup and head to Inverness in a couple of weeks virus free and look to get something there. Not really thought too much about this game this week. Since the news broke about the Well Society/fan ownership I've been more concerned about that.
-
It was Cummins that McCulloch assaulted in that cup debacle at Ibrox. Not sure how much of a bearing it had in the game though.
-
My "back of a fag packet" maths is shocking then!!! Just thinking out loud....if no new wealthy owner is forthcoming, what's the solution? Would 3000 members paying £10 a month be enough? Not having a go by the way, just genuinely concerned.
