I didn't think the crowd felt that sparse at the time yesterday but watching the highlights back it looks absolutely horrific!

The football being played this season is enough to make your eyes bleed and is getting worse by the week. The team selections are bizarre and ineffectual. The fans are voting with their feet if yesterday's attendance is anything to go by. People have stopped listening to the managers pre and post match interviews as it's the same tired cliches getting rolled out every week with little relevance to the game that's just been played. If the results were the same but there at least appeared to be some deliberateness in our play, some semblance of tactics where the players appeared to know the game plan then that would be something, but we have turned into route one hoof ball merchants and it is completely ineffective and brutal to watch. I've seen more than enough to suggest this guy is taking is nowhere.

Agree with all of that. It might start to make sense however if you consider that Fletcher is crocked, McDonald needs dropped and Clarkson isn't even remotely in his plans.

I don't think the Well Society is going to hit its required target. I know we don't have a massive fanbase but I still would've liked to have thought that 2,000 members paying in £10 a month would be more than possible. Really disappointing. £10 a month for something you love isn't a lot. Especially if you're working.

Last chance saloon for Barraclough today. Nae excuses. Even if we do win I've no confidence in the manager that he can take us forward. Not only will defeat mean 5 defeats in a row, we'll have been beaten, at home, by a team who have been pumped regularly in their own back yard this season, and quite possibly put us bottom of the league. Players have to take responsibility also, but then most of them were signed, or re-signed by Barraclough.... For the record, I think we'll lose.

Reading about the new players history on the official site, there's no denying that he has scored goals with every club he's been at and they are all much bigger clubs than us. But if Barraclough felt we needed pace up front, and why wouldn't you want that, signing 4 strikers in the summer, none of whom are lightening quick, seems excessive. McDonald(for the quality and proven experience) Robinson (for the pace) and Moult OR Fletcher (to supplement) would've been sufficient surely?!

I wouldn't be giving Barraclough any more scope to bring anyone else in considering how shoogily the peg his jaiket will be on is! Mental on the face of it....

Thought we would be odds on to get Sevco to be honest. No surprises they managed to avoid Aberdeen, Utd or Celtic.....and get a home tie! Funny that.

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. The relative silence surrounding this has led to a few folk believing it's cause it's quite a serious injury.

The writing is on the wall even at this early stage I fear. We look fucking awful, are incapable of the basics, let alone this "pressing" game we were led to believe we were going to deploy, and were just outplayed by a 3rd division part time team. We look odds on to lose every week and our only hope just like last season is that the other poorer teams we're fighting to avoid the drop with also lose and we can somehow stay in touch with them and then fluke a win at somepoint. He was given massive scope to build a team, back room team included. What good will be done by giving him anymore time?
