Only 2 weeks till the season starts. Was hoping we would have signed another few players for the areas everyone seems to be in agreement we need strengthening in order to get them bedded in.
Do we have enough on board (quality wise) to kick off v Inverness?
Bearing in mind Ainsworth is suspended first 2 games.
I still harbour hopes of Skippy signing. Should probably prepare myself for disappointment then.
It would be a massive coup if we do manage to sign him, and could also be the difference between a poor season and an, er,.... average one!
Could obviously split hairs (not sure about collars and would prefer the proper badge on the home) but cannae really argue with either.
Will definitely be buying both but due to my miser ways it won't be till they drop to half price later in the season!
I have no expectations but I would greatly appreciate not going through another season like the one we just had ever again!!
Nowhere near relegation and a decent run in one of the cups would be acceptable.
Ooft! Impressive flurry in the transfer market!
All we need now is a goalie, a centre half, a central midfielder.....
....and Skippy being unveiled in the new strip to top the week off!!
I'm pleased Clarkson is back. Should've had him last year. Maybe won't be first pick but would run through a brick wall for the cause.
I know Dundee fans said he faded last year but they seem to think they're world beaters again despite years in the wilderness.
Pleased with this. Yes his workrate in the first half of the season was questionable but he has a shot like a cannon and when on song would get a game for anyone in the league outside Celtic.
He's suspended for the first 2 games mind.
Skippy, Ainsworth and I would take Clarkson for a year, will more than do for starters/pre-season. Twardzick would be more than capable for pre-season whilst we source competition for the goalies jersey and I think Chalmers can play centre half.
That would allow for a more than decent starting 11 to begin with.
