  1. That's a horrendous stat, and one which only serves to remind us how we should prepare for the worst over the next few days.
  2. This is as worrying as relegation itself.
  3. No exactly overwhelmed with this news.
  4. Nice words from Chris Humphrey in the Record (I know) today.
  5. I still maintain that if we'd signed Faddy and Clarkson we wouldn't be in the play offs.
  6. Delighted we've cut their allocation. Fair play to the club as I had been quite critical of the idea to give them the full stand.
  7. The shit McCall left us in has received next to no acknowledgement outside our fan base. Doubt it will now. The players should still have been good enough to at least scrape 10th spot minimum. Nobody expected another top 3 finish but the collapse has been incredible. Barraclough then managed to turn a 6 point lead over 11th spot in to being 6 points adrift of 10th spot despite being given funds to bring in a wad of players. Then there's the appointment of Barraclough... These are the areas for starters that should be under the microscope. Even if we manage to somehow survive the play offs (of which I think we have absolutely no chance) this is by far and away the worst season I've ever experienced.

    Mfc Podcast

Another enjoyable podcast. Liked that the issue of giving Rangers the full South Stand was discussed and that all panel members are in agreement with myself; that it is a joke and it beggars belief that the club are going ahead with it!
  9. Do we pick through the bones of this clusterfuck of a season now and apportion blame, or wait till after the play offs? Even in the unlikely event we somehow survive the play offs the guilty are still guilty.
  10. Could see Randolph going to Aberdeen. There was a time when that would've enraged me but it's the least of our worries these days.
  11. I'll be absolutely delighted if that comes to pass.
  12. I fully expect to be at least 3-0 down after the first leg and at best manage a draw at Fir Park. If by some miracle we're still in the game at Fir Park I expect some of the worst "honest mistakes" from the red you've ever seen. Quite certain McDonalds appeal won't be overturned either, yet Dave King is deemed "fit and proper"?!?!
  13. It's a matter of principle more than anything. Rangers are giving us that pissy wee corner which amounts to about 950. Hibs are giving us the upper tier only behind the goals which is 1500. Rangers treat the away fans like shit. Why are we being so generous with our allocation to them?!?! They should get the upper tier of the South Stand only.
  14. Had a wee laugh at that! Where have I criticised the owner?
  15. Totally agree with this.
  16. Good point. I was there that day and I thought we played really well. A bit more composure and/or luck in the final area and we could've got something. We were also denied 2 really strong penalty claims. In fact, they were stonewallers!!! Defending for the goals however....
  17. This seasons strips are belters. Just a pity they'll be forever tainted.
  18. If the entire South Stand is as I feared to be given to only away fans then we might as well charge full whack. Why are Rangers and Hibs trying to gain an advantage at their home games but we're happy to relinquish that?!?!
  19. Was the argument with the 4th official? If it was then it certainly casts doubt on his ability to view further incidents in the game fairly.....
  20. From Scotsman Skippy faces play-off sweat over St Mirren bust-up MOTHERWELL striker Scott McDonald could yet miss the Steelmen’s last three fixtures - the final league match and two-legged play off final against Rangers or Hibernian - despite initial relief at copping a two-game ban and not a three-match ban for his red card against St Mirren. But the Australian forward could yet face action over a bust-up before the match, which St Mirren won 2-1. The former Celtic striker was reportedly involved in a heated exchange with a St Mirren official, and was heard using foul language in front of young mascots. A Fir Park spokesman confirmed last night: “Motherwell are aware of the incident and they have spoken to Scott McDonald.” Motherwell are also contesting the red card given to McDonald for violent conduct, with manager Ian Baraclough saying: “I saw it with my own eyes at the time and I never had any thoughts whatsoever that it would even be a foul, let alone a red card.” Wait, are we now being told that being involved in an arguement with someone is now grounds for a further ban? Where is the precedent for this?!?
  21. That's exactly what we should do as well. Hibs are maximising their home advantage (and no doubt Rangers will as well) and if we don't its absolute madness. Fuck the money! If our club were *that* concerned about money at this stage of proceedings then they would'nt have pissed away the thousands of pounds spent bringing in duds like Long, Laing, Straker, and O'Brien etc
