Even without McDonald?

Just watched the highlights.... O'Brien at the equaliser?!?! Jesus Christ!!! If that's wasn't bad enough they cut through our defence with ease on several occasions. Absolutely brutal! McManus tackle was a shocker. Should've been off for that. McDonalds red was harsh but winning the appeal might not be a foregone conclusion.

I bet we give them the South Stand and the usual ends in the Main Stand. If it was up to me they'd get the wee end bit in the main and that's it. They'll treat us like shite with the allocation at Ibrox and we'll still bend over for them at the return leg.

Motherwell defender Stephen McManus is in bullish mood as the Steelmen wait for the play-off final: "If you look at these last nine games and compare them to the first nine games, then you can see we've not been on a dramatic slide. "The reason we are sitting second bottom is not because of what happened on Saturday - it's been results over the course of the whole season. "But we just need to dust ourselves down and work as hard as we can to make sure we stay in this division. "We've been in this league for a long time and we know it will be a big ask but we believe we are more than capable of winning these two games." Talking the same deluded pish as the manager. Somebody should perhaps point out we've only taken 4 points from the past 5 games....

As a support we have taken the constant shite this season far too meekly. The players have been given fantastic backing at the last 3 "must win" games and have responded with frankly disgusting levels of apathy. The club is now on the brink of dropping out of the top flight for the first time in over 30 years and too many folk seem to be accepting this too easily for my liking. The time to let them know what they have delivered on a weekly basis stinks is surely here? Protests? Walk out? Backs turned as the teams walk out? Our should we just turn up, pay our money and shuffle in our seats? They'll be taking the piss if they even think about having a lap of honour at the end!

McManus clearly tried to get himself sent off in the 4-0 home game v Accies last year with a horror tackle in the opening 30 seconds. I curse the day he signed his deal. An imposter of a player and a cancer on this club. Get him to absolute fuck!

The only reason I'd be even tempted to go would be to give the players, manager and board "thanks" for serving up the worst season I've ever endured. I'm done until the imposter in charge is gone though and that includes the playoffs. When the players start to give a fuck maybe I will too.

We're 1-0 up in a "do of die" game with 5 minutes to go and we still manage to lose. Against a team with nothing to play for and are already relegated. Just let that sink in. That's the calibre of player we have wearing claret and amber this season. Fucking imposters.

There should be protests after the game next week. Every cunt involved should be getting their jotters. Disgraceful that the players and management once again shite in the nest.

I'm just trying to understand why 3 very winnable away games in a row with the clubs very future at stake we have now completely failed to turn up?

Doesn't sound good at all so far. Killie winning and Ross County losing.

I reckon he's off which annoying as it is, it's the nature of football for the smaller clubs to lose their best (young) players to bigger ones. Questions will need to be asked however if once again we lose a great young prospect for nothing! What about a development fee? If sevco can get 200k for a player that hardly kicked a ball for them then what can we get? A pittance I suspect.

I find it incredible that despite only taking 1 point from 3 "must win" games we now find ourselves in a situation where we could still escape the play offs. If we fail to take advantage of this on Saturday then absolutely hell mend us! Of course Killie and/or Ross County could pick up points but we have to at least take care of our own matters on the pitch and see where we are after that. If we do end up in the play offs then it's going to be helluva close and absolutely galling that if we had only been marginally less shite throughout the season we could/would be home and hosed by now. I'm working on Saturday and can't go anyway but even if I wasn't I would be reluctant to ever darken the door of New Love Street ever again after the treatment of the polis and stewards when I last visited there. 3 pat downs before getting in, sniffers dogs and horses?!?!?!

We've failed to win any of the 3 "must win" games we've just played and I don't see why this one will be any different. Even if we do it's too little too late to realistically help us avoid 11th.

We've been crying out for Thomas to get some decent time for months and it's never happened. Why not? Why when the team has been struggling so much and this player clearly has ability, are we not using him more?!?!

Unfortunately this debate is going raise its head again as we fail yet again to do the necessary and take advantage of an opportunity to close the gap and give ourselves a realistic chance out saving ourselves. Time to get shot of this guy before the playoffs? To be honest I had given up the ghost when we lost at Firhill. If we had won that day then we had a real opportunity to avoid the play offs. We've taken 1 point from the last 3 games v Partick Thistle, Accies and Ross County! Pathetic! It may well be mathematically possible to avoid the play offs but this team are the worst Motherwell team assembled in over 30 years. They're simply not capable.
