Total rout from start to finish and if the final ball had been better and/or linesman had not flagged McDonald off when he was clearly on, it could've been 8 or 9 goals easy. Never has a "must win" game been so comfortable and easy. More please. Fantastic performances from so many as already mentioned. We are absolutely dinamite going forward and reminiscent of Higdon, Humphrey, Ojamaa, Law, McFadden etc at the end of season 2012/2013. I thought McManus and Laing has great games too and won everything. Hope Pearo is ok for Saturday although I thought Grant looked more than capable in the middle when he came on. Only downside to the evening was Ross County winning again. They are really getting on my tits..

Whoever gets The Rangers in the play off is going to be subjected to the most biased refereeing you've ever witnessed. The 11th placed premier league team is on a hiding to nothing. If we get them in the play offs I'd like to see them given the wee corner of the main stand at Fir Park at nothing else 'cos we sure as hell will only get the wee corner at Ibrox. No way they should get the South Stand.

I'm the same, and as you can imagine, I think about very little else!! Been this way since about October to be honest!!!
-
A great and thoroughly deserved 3 points in front of a really decent away support. 2nd half was fantastic and what a feeling when Erwin scored!! Going forward we look really really good and there is a threat from a variety of outlets. A couple of criticisms though..... I think he is a good player, but Grant didn't contribute much wide left yesterday and I would've liked to have seen Dom Thomas as Johnsons direct replacement. In the second half at least, until the last 5 minutes, Long was a virtual spectator, which was possibly just as well and he dealt with nothing comfortably that was put in the box in the first and was definitely culpable for Killies goal. the goal ooks even worse on the telly!! I'm not convinced he is any better than Twardzik and the last 3 goals he's let in have all been howlers. He had a good game v Accies but I thought Straker had a nightmare yesterday.
-
St Miren have probably being the better team in the previous 2 meetings this season and yet we won them both. I can see a reversal in fortunes here with us battering them, yet losing!! Hope I'm wrong. Hopefully Johnson is back and I'd bring Ramsden and Twardzik in for long and Straker.

Wow!! Most unexpected and most welcome.

Sorry, what I meant was to ask whether it working on your mobile was going to be the long term plan? Or whether it being available at the moment was just for a trial period?
-
It would be great if it could permanently work on mobiles as on match days news of goals is much quicker than BBC or Sky apps.

I feel quite deflated after Thistle and County winning again yesterday. With the 3 point gap between us and County I feel pressure on us to win every game just to keep in touch is immense. Thistle beating Inverness, St Johnstone and utd recently is unprecedented! What the fuck?!?! I'd expect them to take 4 points max from that and we'd be above them! County's run is also ridiculous and sadly shows no signs of stopping. If they had onlu won 3 of those games etc.... I can see them winning next game and we'll do well to get a point at Rugby Park. I think we're going to run out of games. Fuck sake!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic!! More later, just going to enjoy this for a bit!!

Must win. Need to win. Won't win. Will then be looking for other teams to do us a favour to keep the slim chances of survival alive. Story of the season. Repeat and rinse.

Didn't expect to take anything from tonight but what an absolute sickener this is. If Ross County win tomorrow, and I think they will, we are 5 points from safety and as good as down in my opinion.
-
I think we'll either get gubbed or lose narrowly. I dread to think what the league table could look like by 5pm on Saturday.

Whilst a draw against a team that have had, and are having, a not too bad season in places isn't a disaster, we really needed to match Ross County's result and as it now stands we are probably in a worse situation than we were a couple of weeks ago. Albeit we are now playing 100 times better than at any stage of the season. On reflection it certainly looks like a penalty and I certainly believe Long should've done better with the goal. We had most of the ball and Johnston in the first half in particular put in some fantastic crosses. You can't really ask much more of him. Might be idea to reinstate Sutton for those of us who believe that if you give him service he will score? The subs on Saturday didn't really provide us with much although I can see why they were made. For all Ainsworth appears to be unhappy with not starting he didn't do enough when he came on to suggest the manager is/was wrong. I actually think that Pearo and McDonald could've maybe have done more throughout but I still feel their presence allows and motivates others around them. I though Law settled into a great game and Straker wasn't actually that bad either. I agree with the comments made on here that people were on his back instantly for nothing but disagree that the East Stand/Well fans in general need someone to hate. That's nonsense. My fear and/or prediction is that Ross County are going to pull away and be safe with a bit to spare leaving us, St Mirren and possibly Partick Thistle, depending on the next few games, to fight it out for the lesser of 2 evils (which I'm not sure if that is going straight down or down via the play offs)

I was so busy enjoying the performance and victory from the weekend that I forgot to moan Dom Thomas didn't play.
-
I would agree with this.
-
I would agree with all that. Need to take something.
-
Ooft! Where did that come from?!?! Credit where credits due but that was some performance. Skippy and Pearo were immense but everyone played their part. Yes there was a few mistakes here and there but can't really fault anyone. What a difference it makes not playing Sutton. Just a pity the other teams at the bottom all won. I had a feeling that Ross County would win actually but not so much St Mirren, and thistle winning at tannadice is a real coupon buster! Need to take that level into next week and get even a point.
-
McDonald is easily one of the best players I've ever seen in a Motherwell jersey and on the face of it this is a bit of a coup to get him back. Players with proven ability like McDonald and Pearson (rather than Straker etc) are the players that we need right now. I fear it's too late to save us though.
-
Wow! That would be fantastic.
-
Only ourselves to blame. It was a long time coming going bottom. Most neutral observers believed for a long time, based on the league table, that St Mirren and Ross County were the worst teams in the league, but anyone who had been watching us regularly would tell you different.
-
Yep. It's obvious it's pretty obvious it's McManus who has been moaning to Wilson.
-
Vigurs certainly splits opinions but I'd have him in the team over any of the new signings.
-
I go as far as to say we're worse than the Gretna and Dunfermline teams that were in the premier league a few years ago.
