Pearson missing out, along with Lasleys injury is frankly a disaster for everyone who cares about Motherwell. If they're injured they're injured though so that is just rotten bad luck. There's no excuse for Kerr, who had a good game at Tannadice dropping out for O'Brien who has been woeful, particularly in his last appearance at Dens park. Same goes for Law. There's stuff Barraclough can't help (possibly), there's other stuff he's doing himself, the team and the fans no favours with. I'll be astonished if we get anytjing out this game today.

Having just watched the St Johnstone v Aberdeen highlights there I have the major fear for this game (not that don't usually!) They looked really really good going forward.

Back 4 that started v Utd should stay the same for this. I've slaughtered Kerr this season and I stand by it, but I thought he did really well v Utd and deserves to keep his place. Cadden in for Law (who was the only player who for me v Utd who didn't get pass marks) possibly? Is Ojamaa available again? Loan up? Extended? I'd be tempted to start Moore instead of Sutton. Barraclough HAS to ring the changes for this! Nae point persisting with McManus and Ainsworth. They clearly don't want to be here and are hindering our survival chances! Barraclough might talk a good game, but the perception that we are getting worse under him seems to be growing among the fans. We need to see signs that his gameplay is being applied. I agree with playing Pearson in the middle. Not sure about Carswell as he's the new Fitzpatrick in my opinion. Thomas, Moore and Cadden is worth a shout. If we're going to get beat and/or go down we might as well try the young guys as the so called experienced pros in the team are selling the jerseys and failing miserably anyway.

That was a phenomenal performance from a severely depleted team. Albeit it was a pretty shite Aberdeen team we were playing. Hammell scored the winner with an absolute belter. I'd give Cummins a shot at centre half instead of McManus.

First relegation in 31 years seems inevitable for us now and the sad thing is that's its looked likely since October. The worst Motherwell team in living memory featuring some of the worst individual players we've ever seen. It's really no wonder we're in the position we're in. The new manager hasn't been able to halt the slide, if anything the displays have become even more incoherent and pathetic. The vast majority of the players should be utterly ashamed of themselves, but I doubt if any of them even have the gumption or awareness to do so. Hearts and especially Hibs have been cleansed by the drop down and will return stronger. I don't think it will work like that for us though and a lengthy stint in the first division is on the cards.

I'm not saying I disagree but we're running out of time. St Mirren are also getting their act together and Thistle are not only pulling away but are also capable of results we can only dream of! We've only scored 14 goals all season.
