Following go the game on line, it did seem strange to substitute McFadden AND Ainsworth (especially if neither was injured) for 2 young guys who have barely double figures combined of game time for the first team. Fair enough if it was for Anier and Kerr, Lawson etc. Those at the game seem to be suggesting this cost us the win?

A point away from home with the injuries we have is better than a boot in the baws. Would've committed the cardinal sin (IMO) of losing a game we had a 2-0 lead in save for the handsome big bastards late equaliser. Need to see Hibs second goal before I comment but when you think of the "over the line" decisions we haven't got in recent times it would be particularly galling if another one has went against us.

I'm pretty pissed off they have moved this game from it's original date (which I could make) to this one (which I can't) although I appreciate it does make sense to play a game on a Saturday at 3pm. With the injury crisis we are apparently suffering from at the moment it would've been the ideal time to introduce a couple of youngsters. I can see the sense in patching Lasley and whoever else is inured up if we can soldier on a nick a point, but would fielding Leitch and/or Murray really have resulted in a much worse score line in the last two games? The results and performances have been pish and the injured players aren't getting a chance to recover. Surely we could at least negate the above to one or the other?

Some pretty damning testimonies from those at the game last night. All of it constructive as well. I didn't think we could top the last display at McDiarmid but we look to have achieved that sadly. Just seen the highlights. What the fuck was Neilsen doing for the first goal?!?!?! How is it even possible to push the ball back towards goal like that? The guy is an absolute liabilty! Should have his contract terminated asap. He's that bad. Hammell sleeping/not interested for the second as well.

Wasn't able to make the game and didn't even manage to watch it, but having seen the highlights there were clearly fouls on Hammell on the lead up to their first 2 goals and were denied a blatant penalty at 1-0 when Vigurs was flattened by gunning. That's a game changing decision right there. Terrible attempted pass back by Hutchison. Can't comment on how we played overall but the comments on here suggest we were outclassed which isn't so good. Typical Utd have been poor for 6 or 7 games and then play us when we're weakened and they've found form again. Really need to take something, anything, on Tuesday now.

Interesting about not wanting our direct competitors to increase their financial clout by winning and/or progressing in cups. I think we may see Aberdeen and maybe Utd really pushing the boat out in the summer unfortunately

Thing is, prior to the last week where they seem to have turned the corner a wee bit, they had been murder for 6 or 7 games! They lost 4-1 to st mirren and 3-0 to St Johnstone among other results. The importance of Lasley obviously can't be underestimated though.
