well done broony and all involved ... can't imagine we've had many better januarys been reading up a bit about the old boy .. and it seems to me he's had a bit of a bizarre managerial career really in many respects he was a very successful scotland manager ... yet he's never before managed a top flight scottish club think he hinted at having had offers from scottish clubs before during his bbc interview for MoM .. but here he is .. nearly 70 and managing motherwell. any thoughts on why this is the case? either way i was delighted when he was brought in and am even more delighted he's staying

fair dooos finlay i was a 100% gannon believer at least until the StJ game so no great foresight from me there all the same .. from the moment Broony was brought in I've found myself pleasantly surprised with each and every thing he's done and said i dont think i'm getting carried away here .. all i've said is that i'd like to see CB to get a decent shot at the job .. everything else aside i think it's refreshing to hear an SPL manager talk to the press without malice, resentment or bitterness. any other SPL managers capable of that? add to that a very fine win today and I can't see why he shouldn't get a chance. as for JOB ... absolutely delighted that he got a couple of goals today! ... with any luck CB can steady the ship and convince him to stay.

Woohoo! absolutely delighted with this today! beating any team in this league 3-0 is well worth praise almost every game for the last few months has been touted on here as potentially "defining our season" .. but most folks on this forum were nothing much more than quietly hopeful about this game .. myself included. i'll happily predict now though that come May we'll look back on today as the day our season was saved. been right up for J&V from day one .. and i sincerely hope they get til May at least to make their point mon the well!!!
