Well Done Kettlewell and the players today and all that after the earlier comments on team selection, we made more chances in the first 10 mins than we have in the past 10 games

Hopefully this game gives him a lift in confidence and we see him progress

Kettlewell is the best manager we have had recently, look at the constraints he has had to work with trying to address the disaster that was Alexander and Hammell, reducing the playing squad in numbers and quality and expected to produce a top 6 team lets get real if we finish 10th that will do us this year. The Club is a shambles the fan ownership has failed and as stated a new funding model has to be found to address our playing budget. Only then we may find us with better players.

I think this is fairly significant and shown how overburdened Alexander left us on the playing budget with agreeing 3 year contracts. It also can explain the current situation we find ourselves in with the small playing squad. Hopefully we get through this season and pick up again going forward

The plan was obvously to have a fwd who could hold up the ball and bring our mdfield forward thinking players up the field and into the game I think that was Obika but because he's made of paper its been untried this season. We were then scratching about for other fwd options hence Shaw who is so one paces and devoid of confidence he's only a sub option. Casey who i believe is our best defender and Slatterys form has dipped badly since Ross County and were missing Lennon now as well Odonnell is so ponderson and slows the game which is the opposite of last season where Johnson providing urgency and pace. Lots to think about but were not a lost case and Kettlewell is no mug, as for wholesale changes each match he's in a no win i've already seen comments on here about him using the Alexander tombola.
