Wouldn't mind john mcglynn

Please not brown or lennon

I don't know if he's that good either, we would need to compare to a team with similar budget, injuries etc etc We might finish 10th or worse, we might finish 4th , at the minute that's unlikely but I am prepared to give it till injuries clear up . All this changing managers every 2 years does is cost us money.

There's a comment from a hearts fan to this article about getting rid of Robbie nelson, it's been shown that it wasn't smartest move....all it does is lumber clubs with more debt paying off managers.
-
You're kind of selective with your "praise", if we were " shite" , then we were less shite than all the other teams, you don't rate the guy ..we get it....let's see if we do finish 10th before we assume that, especially if we can get players back.
-
There's also a few managers who haven't achieved that, including tommy mac, only league reconstruction saved us...he took a while to get going but turned out OK Unfortunately it's a totally different game and teams can bring in players from all over world, I doubt we will see a cup win again unless old firm leave Scotland.

Maybe it should be a new thread but if everyone was available, what would be strongest team we could field? We vould compare that to what's on field at minute? I don't think strongest 11 have been on show at any time this season. I know it's hard with some playrrss just on board but would be interesting..

I just watched the highlights, hopefully we can get casey back in, he's got faults but does seem committed. Both those goals were balls bouncing around with nobody really taking responsibility I kept an eye on second goal , player on edge of box just jogging around not doing a lot , yep,it's yer man davor. Sod again caught ball watching , thought he did ok to a degree yesterday but caught at back post too often.

I don't think his interview was great but did I feel insulted, not at all...in general people look to be offended. What did he say ? He knows a bit more about formations tactics than joe public and he has more experience..not really up for debate. If it was directed at the fans at all...more likely to be pundits, he's got a point tbf, a lot of pundits have never tried the management gig . I don't think it was his finest hour but it's not a sacking offence.
-
Don't think he gets blamed for everything, at the same time, he's not very good
-
Some can't defend
-
Was casey not at fault for their goal last week but I see your point ...sod starts again for instance

Global warming and the situation in middle east?

This is unsettling 😂

They've been shouting for managers head since I can remember starting with wullie McLean ( Tommy's brother) and it's been that way ever since , just now we've got social media.
-
I was close to him on Saturday, he didn't say anything particularly disrespectful, it was more getting in face of 4th official. I'd rather he was passionate and animated , the officiating in Scotland is a different level of incompetence tbf, as long as he can afford the fines.
-
But Robbo was regularly criticised on here...it's the life of a manager. There's probably not much to choose between us and St Mirren if we get strongest teams on park.
-
Aye, we were put out of the cup, that's troubling Don't give a f*ck about the other stuff.
-
I think the majority on here are fairly measured , even if they don't rate him. There's still one or two on here who can't help getting personal and another few who would but seem yo have disappeared...personally don't miss them , it helps if you can debate different opinions without the posts that are just on to stir things up. Things are never black and white especially in Scottish football. Anyway coyw.
-
Great measured post.
-
That's the problem, people hear what they want to hear I think it's pretty obvious what he's saying...there's been nothing in the games, we haven't been undone by good play , generally been punished gor f*ck ups in defence.
-
Re last paragraph, football fans in general don't think like that...they don't see big picture, injuries budget etc I was gutted yesterday but until we get some players back we can't really judge him We saw how good Nicholson and Slattery could be yesterday but how can we play through the lines when it's boys like Davor in there...even the boy Andrews probably got a shock yesterday at the physicality up here. I agree with a previous poster, he seems a personable guy and cares unlike ga, for example , who struck me as someone who underestimated it up here and had 2 chances to beat a LOI team and couldn't manage it. That's us out to Morton and St j in 2 years tho, so maybe we just ain't that good.
-
Me too but he's got get rid of guys who aren't doing it for him, some he bought, some he inherited
-
Because all of our " better players" are injured or have been injured , when that happens it's down to our lesser players, which for a club like ours is pretty mediocre. At one point today davor, sod and koutrombis were warming up in front of me...that's just 3 wasted wages imo. The management team need to sort that out and the question needs to be asked why did we sign/ resign these guys.?
-
I keep hearing about hoofball, do.you think.some of these players can play any other way? They can't play through the middle so they're going to kick it long. We've some good footballers but they've been out injured or are just coming back....missing Miller , Seddonand Stam now ...I think Nicholson, Masa and Slattery can play but the rest are just chasing the ball.
