I was close to him on Saturday, he didn't say anything particularly disrespectful, it was more getting in face of 4th official. I'd rather he was passionate and animated , the officiating in Scotland is a different level of incompetence tbf, as long as he can afford the fines.

I think the majority on here are fairly measured , even if they don't rate him. There's still one or two on here who can't help getting personal and another few who would but seem yo have disappeared...personally don't miss them , it helps if you can debate different opinions without the posts that are just on to stir things up. That's the problem, people hear what they want to hear I think it's pretty obvious what he's saying...there's been nothing in the games, we haven't been undone by good play , generally been punished gor f*ck ups in defence.

Re last paragraph, football fans in general don't think like that...they don't see big picture, injuries budget etc I was gutted yesterday but until we get some players back we can't really judge him We saw how good Nicholson and Slattery could be yesterday but how can we play through the lines when it's boys like Davor in there...even the boy Andrews probably got a shock yesterday at the physicality up here. I agree with a previous poster, he seems a personable guy and cares unlike ga, for example , who struck me as someone who underestimated it up here and had 2 chances to beat a LOI team and couldn't manage it. That's us out to Morton and St j in 2 years tho, so maybe we just ain't that good.

Because all of our " better players" are injured or have been injured , when that happens it's down to our lesser players, which for a club like ours is pretty mediocre. At one point today davor, sod and koutrombis were warming up in front of me...that's just 3 wasted wages imo. The management team need to sort that out and the question needs to be asked why did we sign/ resign these guys.?

I keep hearing about hoofball, do.you think.some of these players can play any other way? They can't play through the middle so they're going to kick it long. We've some good footballers but they've been out injured or are just coming back....missing Miller , Seddonand Stam now ...I think Nicholson, Masa and Slattery can play but the rest are just chasing the ball.

Can only assume nick was goosed because he was easily our best player, important we keep him fit

Too many players simply not good enough...odonnel, kaleta , davor, moses, balmer, wilson all bang average if that. Only Nicholson and Slattery today looked like footballers...probably done well to avoid relegation but give it time. Still we are a fan owned Club with gates of 4000...sleepwalking to relegation.

I feel in a Motherwell shirt, he has been poor, not just lately. Hes not great defensively and not great delivery for a full back...he's probably one of the better paid players which might be why some fans have an issue....Casey seems more whole hearted which might be in his favour

It seems folk need something else to complain about if we ain't losing We are / have been missing Nicholson, Slattery , Paton, Vale, Miller , that's just off the top of my head and arguably some of our more " technical" players. Still managed to be 3 pts off third...not too shabby, time to judge is when these players are all fit and available. Also someone mentioned how Dundee played better stuff, they do have a higher budget and are below us in League.

I don't think it was that bad a challenge, because someone gets hurt shouldn't influence the colour of the card, it's just unfortunate. Dougie Arnott did it for years, " making a back".
