  1. Watt's been playing to put himself in the shop window all season and has been ...... gash. No reason to suspect he'll be any better now, though I agree we are rapidly running out options up front.
  2. We've been shafted again. Our final five fixtures of the season have now been announced. We will kick off our post-split schedule with a home match against St Johnstone on Saturday 26 April. We’ll travel to Dundee on Saturday 3 May, before we travel to Hearts on 10 May. We then take on Kilmarnock on in our final home match of the season on Wednesday 14 May and we will finish the 2024/25 season at Ross County on Sunday 18 May. Ticket details for all fixtures will be revealed in due course. Fixtures in full Motherwell v St Johnstone Dundee v Motherwell Hearts v Motherwell Motherwell v Kilmarnock Ross County v Motherwell
  3. For a game that carried so much pre-KO, that has to be one of the most "insiped" matches I've ever witnessed. Neither team looked as if they wanted to win it and fear stifled any invention at all. Absolute pish - from both teams.
  4. I totally missed the BBC report - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/c74mxge9n8xo I assumed it was all still speculation.
  5. Is there any actual proof that this is happening?
  6. We've got too many players who have no vested interest in what happens. And sadly that at times seems to apply to some of those, who should have.
  7. The game is finished - there is no way that was a red card, not even a yellow. Another ref who clearly hasn’t played the game at any level.
  8. Miller is playing on his reputation at the moment. He’s been minging for weeks.
  9. Is this deliberately obtuse or am I just out of the loop? 🤷‍♂️
  10. Was Scottish Cup. John Philiben scored in last minute
  11. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2025/03/18/slattery-and-odonnell-sign-on-for-next-season/ O'Donnell must have pictures of someone high up 😄
  12. Not here to defend him - but is he responsible. I always thought his role was to "identify" targets - after that the "football department" and ultimately the manager made the call on the signing.
  13. I think Marvin Johnson made us a few bob in add-ons.
  14. Not just the result - but the performance, thought the midfield of Miller, Slattery and Andrews were superb. The 2 young lads showed composure way beyond their years,
  15. Not sure what Casey was doing there?
  16. But he can throw it further than I go on holiday 🤣
  17. Sitting in the Cooper gives a great view of the tactical set-up and throughout the last 3 managerial appointments the game has been squeezed and played completely in half the width of the park. So nice and refreshing tonight to see the game stretched and both wing backs moving wide as soon as Balcombe had the ball.
  18. Much better - lots of burst baws out there at the end. Special mention to SOD - I’ve been a huge critic of his but credit where it’s due, thought he was excellent tonight.
  19. Slattery is about 10 yards off the pace - not surprising, but at this time doesn't even look a good option from the bench.
  20. Think it was more to do with the hard time he got after he signed for Thistle and of course during that game.
  21. Didn't Kevin Twaddle do a similar GIRUY along the East Stand after he scored for Hearts 😀
  22. Agree and I definitey resemble that remark.
  23. Exactly this - none more so than any manager and I’ve seen a few since Bobby Howitt and certainly none than most other supports had out on a weekly basis. Good job he never managed Airdrie and had to make the long walk along the stand at Broomfield, he wouldn’t have lasted a week. Pure smokescreen.
  24. I don’t believe there was any abuse. Pure fiction.
