  1. Shields must be a fuckin world beater in training. Either that or he has incriminating photos of Hammell and Kerr ffs 🤦‍♂️
  2. Happy New Year - hope it's a good one for all 'Well fans.
  3. Agreed, just happens to be my birthday - so double reason to remember the date. RIP Phil - taken far too soon.
  4. Care to shed a little perspective on this.......................just curious and I'm not on social media
  5. Bring back the Flying Duck's
  6. BBC reporting "we won the race to his signature". Wonder who else was in the "race" lol.

"slow and steady", yes that would be an apt description of him too lol. Tommy generally made these signings on a Friday evening, I reckon usually after a bucket load of wine and normally after a telephone conversation with his brother Jim.

Ah f..k it's an age thing . I read that post a dozen times and convinced myself it was "big buff" he was talking about. So, yes I did get them mixed up and agree totally with @well_said definitely poles apart in ability. To the poster - yes Brian Wright was a central midfielder and not a very good one at that.
  10. Craig Tanner playing for Ebbsfleet United in the FA Cup this afternoon against Scott Brown's Fleetwood. Now showing on STV.

But was far better when moved back to Centre Back. Could best be described as a "utility" player up till that point.
  12. A great centre forward in the "old fashioned" mould. That team that included the players El Grew quoted was one of the most dynamic I have seen at Fir Park. The 5-4 comeback game against Killie was unforgettable. RIP Jimmy
  13. Not a surprise - I know at the recent Rangers my BiL and nephew were surrounded by the Union Bears, many of whom were openly boasting of having "doubled up" to gain entry. This is apparently a common occurence at Rangers (and I would have to assume Celtic too) away games. How ticketless fans get that close to the stadium, let alone turnstiles astonishes me. Certainly at the last Rangers game there was no stairway access visible in the 3 sections on the top tier, next to the East Stand.
  14. Allowed the full back to run unchallenged half the length of the park - fuckin criminal.
  15. We were playing better against 11 men - this is fuckin dire.
