  1. There's no decision to be made at full back - Carroll has to come back in. Natural left sided player v "shoe horned" right sided full back.
  2. Serious error in judgement by Robinson [emoji2959][emoji2959] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Was convinced we HAD scored there [emoji2357][emoji122][emoji122] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yassss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Yip - Liz Mullen ran 4 buses, left from the Town Hall, first stop Abington to wait on some idiot who had forgotten their passport - ooops that would have been me . What a trip it was unforgettable . What made it more memorable was the stop at Calais to stock up and someone finding the French equivalent of MadDog 20:20. Watching the guys get more and more drunk, only to find out is was actually Orange Cordial - 0% Alcohol .
  6. I celebrated as a lot of others did (nothing to do with the copious amounts of alcohol) and for 10 minutes after still believed we were 1-0 up
  7. Please let the International break be over quickly
  8. Of course they did - you only need to see who the referee was to know that would happen - a certain Mr JRP Gordon who was subsequently banned, found to have accepted "gifts for favours".
  9. Agreed that prior to his injury, he was better than we had at that time, but time seems to have caught up with him. Perhaps we are trying to move him on - or perhaps he's happy with the wage he's picking up for doing very little. However while he is here, I'm quite content to let the coaching team decide how good or pish he is.
  10. OK - how about he was shite in the games he's played this season - slow, ponderous in possession and lacking in basic footballing skills. Being able to shout, encourage and gesticulate doesn't warrant a place in any team.
  11. Not if you had seen him at Dumbarton .
  12. Wonder if they quickly realised how much money they were losing with such a policy - it was in play last season.
  13. Sections "M" and "N" were being sold direct from Motherwell. Presumably they will open up other areas as demand is required.
  14. Isn't it the same though across the board - haven't bought tickets from MFC direct, do they not charge? Certainly Ticketmaster are masters of that - booking fees for Liverpool v Napoli on Sunday were about £4+ if I remember correctly. Rip-off, as is the PATG price, but sadly it is what it is
  15. Yip you can and it's very easy and convenient.
  16. Apart from the fact that he was released a year earlier and Ross County are still in the Reserve League - the DR report is spot on - see post from Ross County fan on P&B https://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php?/topic/230925-motherwell-fc-a-thread-for-all-seasons/&do=findComment&comment=13103188
  17. Were you at the game caller? Agree on Scott, but thought the exact opposite of Semple/Polworth - Semple poor, played with his ample head up his arse - Polworth first class some nice incisive passing and very comfortable on the ball.
  18. Good spot mate - hadn't noticed him - only other recognisable face I could identify was Ray Montgomery (ex Killie) back row, second from left.
  19. Is that a young Andy Russell to Bobby Howitt's right?
  20. Certainly looks like some angle being worked. Gregor Stevens to Leicester, then quickly on to Rangers springs to mind???.
  21. They were like fucking Stuka's.
  22. Agreed - though from his limited game time last season, I think you're being kind that "most of us were not convinced" - he was poor. Even given their limited resources, it was difficult to see why he was NI's record u-21 cap holder. Like you I think there is a player there and clearly Robinson likes someone in the McHugh mould to break things down in the middle of the park and protect the back four. It's early days and I've only seen him against QOS, so perhaps not the best game on which to base an opinion, but he was definitely more mobile than McHugh and possibly Gorrin. Be interesting to see if he kicks on from this opportunity.
  23. I’ll go a day earlier (The Twelfth) just to really rub salt in the wounds [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
