  1. Yes they did. I offered the opinon that the wise move would have been to seek a second opinion, as others were insinuating that there might have been some dubiety in the Celtic claim or the injury was fictitious.
  2. I would hope the Club had, before putting out their statement.
  3. Announced where? Agree if there is any doubt at all - MFC should pull the plug.......immediately.
  4. No need, that was a commonly held opinion at the time - my own included. Seriously how could we blow £50K on a has-been. First game Davie played convinced me what a gem of a player he was.
  5. Agree totally - yes I was rather quoting the obvious. He's clearly a sensitive wee soul.
  6. I'm gonna take a stab and guess it's the reference to the 'tattiedome".
  7. I give you those 2 and raise you Michael Higdon
  8. Was definitely one of the stranger episodes in my time following the club for 55+ years.
  9. We didn't get that one wrong - the Club did .
  10. Former Players thread for this pish. Albeit £3.25m worth of pish.
  11. You couldn’t make this shit up [emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Wonder if they'll post a magnificently worded tweet to annouce it - if true of course
  13. It’s a fairly well and openly documented piece of our history. I also believe it wasn’t universally received by the support at the time and was poorly used initially as a form of protest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. As far as I remember the bank forced that sale - yes.
  15. In the heat of the moment it's easy to lose sight of this. PLEASE David tell them to get tae ....
  16. I was quite resigned to losing him in the summer. It's the timing of the transfer that has me perplexed. Again, no need to sell to service the debt, so why the desperation, unless as others have pointed out it's to try and lure the big hitters from south of the border into making trumping bids.
  17. Apparently they did, but my irrational side doesn't recognise those as legitimate offers, in the grand scheme of things
  18. Unless there is a release clause, then yes in my eyes it's a gamble worth taking. As weeyin consistently points out - there is no pressing reason to sell to reduce the existing debt. We are in a good place financially at the moment - the board should have stood firm, if there wasn't a release clause.
