  1. LOL - What's wrong with a train set and a shed? Will that be a majority of the ones who stayed away - couldn't care less who agrees or disagrees.
  2. Sorry mate don't need you to tell me either But glad I've given you a laugh
  3. What I find hard to understand is the mentality that fans are happy to shell out for a season ticket to watch games in a competition that we have as much chance of winning as hell freezing over - yet fail to turn up to a game in one of the only two competitions where we actually have a chance. This is noticeable not only here but in Englandurshire as well - strange one!!
  4. I don't need you to tell me to calm down - I'm perfectly calm. Good that you made it - welcome to the 'uber' supporters club.
  5. So you fail to see the irony in your comment, that more than 50% of the crowd travelled from outside Lanarkshire . I will enjoy the moment, but our support was pathetic whatever way you spin it.
  6. Remind me again where Edinburgh is? Our support was pathetic for a quarter-final.
  7. You're bang on the money there - nice of you to recognise it
  8. I that 45 minutes was a real hardship in getting to the game.
  9. Yip - big Rab joined the 'Well fans at the cup tie at Dens a coupled of weeks past.
  10. Sorry to burst your dad's bubble, but McClair (from Airdrie) was a 'Hoops' fan through and through. Don't think Joe was either - though certainly grew to have a deep affection and affinity with the club. Think I read somewhere that Johnny Gaghan - though from Glasgow used to come to games with his Uncle, prior to signing and claimed to have been a supporter. Gary Mac seems to divide opinion with those who went to school with him - some claim he was a 'blue-nose' others that he bled 'Claret & Amber' - he does pledge his allegiance to Motherwell when appearing as a pundit
  11. Just me being smart mate. Only became their 'home end' post-segregation. Prior to that we had all sorts of 'fun' swapping ends at half-time and after on the dual-carriageway just before the Racecourse where the buses parked. Could never get a taste for 'the wine' in any of it's forms - straight Tennents lager (think it had to do with the glamour girls on the back).
  12. Good spot - was familiar, just couldn't put a name to him - thanks. @tintowellfan - both ends were covered at Somerset - it was only the terracing that ran the full length of the pitch that was uncovered.
  13. Yeah - think that's Somerset Park - Willie McVie and Pat Gardner.
  14. Now that’ll mean another visit to my ‘shrink’ thanks a lot mate [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Probably 2,000+ and more than we’ll need I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. That beats ‘desperately trying to stay awake AT THE GAME’ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Was that in a Texaco Cup match - or is my memory as good as your's?
  18. Certainly not the Match Ball sponsors choice - geeezzz. Hospitality must have been really good today.
  19. There's only one winner here - Joe Wark Though we have been blessed with excellent left backs over the years.
