  1. And you can keep those photos to yourself...................please!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Taken in perspective with the crap we have signed - yes.
  3. in recent seasons and earlier this (Ross County at least), they have. Don't know what changed on Saturday.
  4. LOL that was crazy - jumping about outside the main stand, going absolutely bonkers - even your grandad had a wee dig at some of the United fans outside.
  5. Didn't Stuart Rennie suffer concussion during this match as well and played on with a bandage "a la " Butcher?
  6. Think it was actually 27,000 +. Had never seen it so busy - other than when the OF came calling. Think it's fair to say, we looked after ourselves that day and Fergie's 'darlings' never knew what hit them lol. Think I've quoted it before but Doug Baillie's opening comment in the Sunday Post the following day was along the lines "...as the gladiators entered the arena, the roar could be heard at Glasgow Cross" always had a little exaggeration and poetic license in his musings.
  7. Not in a 'well shirt - but memorable none the less - Andy Lynch (Celtic) - 2 OG's in a 3 goal (I think) romp.
  8. LOL and another reason why the legislation was introduced - because certain elements of their support and society in general took offence at the singing of songs they didn't agree with. How ironic. Clearly they reckoned that the legislation would be introduced purely for the 'other' side and now aren't best pleased when they realise that bigotry is a two way street.
  9. SFA and Polish FA have both been cited by UEFA for incidents last night.
  10. Sorry but nothing about ZFA was natural.
  11. Yeah but as a starting point, the quality available to him wasn't there - as you say he added Coyne, Cooper and Russell, but the base squad at his disposal I don't think was of the same standard as that that Bara, or a new gaffer had/has - different era's I know, but with the level of player available, I hope we're not looking at another 4-5 year span before we see another team capable of challenging near the top of the table, though I think we might. On another topic entirely - and purely to satisfy my curiosity, you don't happen to have 2 brothers and a father who holiday's in Lanzarote.
  12. Different starting points though weeyin - Tommy had a lot less quality at his disposal than Bara.
  13. A true gent and legend. My hero in my formative years following the 'well, IMO, the best to ever grace the Claret & Amber. RIP Joe you'll never be forgotten.
  14. Ha Ha didn't he just - justice done, after the punishment Moult received all game.
  15. Guess that's Dougie Imrie out of the running then?
  16. LMAO - doubt he even knows where Motherwell is.
  17. That's good to know. When I made that comment I wasn't sure whether he or anyone else could it - but if he is that committed to a cause, he miight just be a decent appointment. Thanks for the insight Squirrel (you wouldn't happen to be a fanzine editor by any chance?).
  18. Little chance of that happening (though I agree it's what's needed) - just need to trawl through this thread to see the number of differing opinons on the next appointment, any one of which could polarise opinion. Not convinced Shiels would galvanise the club and support, but might just be the man to kick ass (if that's what's needed) in the dressing room - what I've heard from him, he is a strong, opinionated character and certainly doesn't seem to suffer fools gladly. Not sure whether I get this take on 'fawning' over the Old Firm - as long as we have Chic Young and Co, doing that, all questions of that nature will be loaded to provide an answer that will appeal to the Old Firm fan.
  19. Surely though managers are a bit like players - some turn out fine at other clubs, having been a disaster at others and obviously vice-versa (Brendan Rodgers as a prime example, brilliant at both Reading (?) and Swansea, looks to be floundering at Anfield). OK they're style of play might not be to everyone's liking, but what we need now is someone to steady the ship and kick ass, if stories on here are to be believed. With that in mind I wouldn't mind someone from the Scottish Football roundabout. Yogi for me (though not keen on BooBoo as his assistant).
  20. Got ya after a re-read.
  21. He's in a cushy number at the SFA in charge of developing the 'elite' academies, can't see him moving from there.
  22. Has he gone back Bezzer?
