  1. That was just the 'We're Glasgow Celtic - we do what we want" attitude - the Green Brigade have to sit/stand together no matter what - and typically the police and stewards do nothing about it. Just wish I could win the lottery and would happily gift the club the cost of making it a scum free stadium.
  2. I'll ask the question old Jimmy Sanderson used to on the Radio Clyde phone-in " were you at the game caller' how in gods name anyone can say that Higdon had a good game couldn't possibly have been - these touchs, flick ons etc that I keep reading about must be a figment of your imagination - they're actually his attempt at control and they bounce so far away from him that they give the impression of a flick on. Difficult to defend the big fella recently, but he's been crap for a few weeks now and its little to do with formations and everything to do with ability - or lack of it. Oil tankers turn quicker than he does. He wasn't particularly any worse than others around him, but comments that he won lots of good headers and fick ons and 'he was my pick as MOM' are ludicrous and so wide of the mark. Still I guess that's what called opinions and what keep this forum interesting - sometimes.
  3. Me too Postie - again with a dad long gone - huge support up that day.
  4. Steve - that and the introduction of home clubs keeping all the gate money certainly put many off. As Colin stated on another thread we travelled all over for games, however this stopped once this was introduced. I know many others who chose not to got for that very reason - suited who? - yes you guessed it the Old Scum, they basically creamed the top and wiped out any real chance of competing on a reasonable basis in one foul swoop.
  5. You've got far too much time on your hands young 'grasshopper' - super links and times. If only they weren't wearing that damned 'joker' strip (I know you love it - to me its just a joke)
  6. Give your eyes as well as your mind a treat and search out youtube - the speed that team moved the ball around was incredible. Don't think I ever really appreciated quite how good that team was.
  7. *cough* but only for those of a certain age *cough*
  8. Thanks mate - thought it was me having a senior moment
  9. Sorry Well-Nuts - my bad @OfficialMFC was it ever advertised as PATG at original game prices or was I imagining I saw it previously.
  10. Only for those that have a voucher from the postponed game, Season Tickets are valid and there is PATG
  11. Don't you enjoy yourself too much in Auld Reekie now - get tore in my man.

    Hearts

For the added dimension he gives the team its got to be Ojamaa . Though the other 10 - including Lasley - ran him very close.
  13. Heard from who? source? The only thing that has been confirmed by the Club is that a bid was accepted - absolutely no reference to the bid amount - mere speculation by you and others and nothing else I reckon.
  14. LOL - I actually edited my post to reflect my further observations on the payment options. Seemed logical that a payment scheme would have a time limit or defined period.
  15. I would doubt it - They are offering instalments of four months (not 4 payments on dates to be chosen by the supporter) - the example quoted is 10 months . If they wanted to make it 6 or 7 months they would have offered emm............................... 6-7 months, or perhaps 10.. Anyway mere speculation - contact the 'Well Society and see what they say EDIT - just had a look at the form and it isn't clear when they require payment - leaving it to the individual to complete - logic would suggest 4 consecutive payments, but it certainly isn't obvious.
  16. What pathetic offer was that then? I have seen nothing that would indicate that anyone outside the Club knows 'exactly' what any offer was - merely press speculation and fan hysteria.
  17. Does there have to be? - Surprised at your comment Big Fella . Surely sufficient to know that you're 'buying' into the 'Dream'. You been detached for too long? - time to move and get back among God's people.

If the 'in/out' thread is to believed - watching Hutch
  19. LOL not really mate - but its all about opinons - I just hope SMcC sees it the same way. Wouldn't stop me supporting him though should he sign.

    Ojamaa

But those cretins think that last week was 1980, or thereabouts.
  21. We lost the game because they were the better the team - far more fluid, composed and in Hayes, had the best player on the park by a country mile, closely followed by Cox ? (6) who bossed the midfield - so your quite right your opinion is bollox. Their direct running and trickery (Hayes, McKay and to a lesser extent Tade) caused us far more problems, than our oh so predictable hump to Higdon (no blame on the big fella, though it is the obvious 'out' ball, when others run out of ideas - ie all the time) and then.....................................nothing. Was fairly obvious very early on in the game, yet McCall persevered for 71 minutes before trying to change it. Nothing quite like stating the obvious - of course we lost because of a good strike, but he tried and was rewarded. How many saves did the ICT keeper make, very few - BBC stats show 2 shots on target in 90 mins FFS - I could actually only remember Murphy's in the first half. Says it all for me I'm afraid. What worries me more is our inability to even make chances, to me that should concern McCall more than anything. Shot shy and shite at the moment I'm afraid.
  22. Yeah we played Falkirk at this stage in '91
