I think the fact we have been playing better and still not winning is actually what will end up being the final nail in the coffin. When a team looks absolutely hopeless theres almost a feeling that nobody will be able to get a tune out them but this team dont look absolutely hopeless they just look like they need to be better organised and it'll turn but unfortunately it doesnt look like Alfred is the guy to do that

I dont think he takes him off if we haven't been on such a bad run but because he's under pressure he's understandably overthinking things and for what its worth he would definitely be getting the blame if Said was sent off because its football and we always need someone to blame. I think for me tonight I've hit that really dangerous space where apathy has set in and I actually didnt even get angry when that equaliser went in because you could see it coming from about the 65th minute and every change we made seemed to make us worse. Again a bit of sympathy for Alf because he didnt want to bring SOD on he wanted to bring on Thor for Palmer-Houlden who had knocked his pan in but Girdwood-Reich was injured. Even though I'm sympathetic and can understand why he made those decisions, it doesnt mean I think they were right and unfortunately I think its time to go and even if we manage to beat St.Mirren on Saturday its Dundee Utd then Rangers next so that'll be at best 1 win in 10 which no manager can survive

Not really arguing with you as it was a decision that turned the game but I can see why he's done it. If and fair enough its a big IF but if Said does get sent off and we go down to 10men and lose or draw he's getting the blame for not taking him off and then Said is out for the St.Mirren game. Probably more forgiveable if it was one of his only bad decision during games but he's shown that his in game management is nowhere near the level of JBA. I'll give him Saturday and if we dont win he has to go

Fair enough but I cant help thinking that had he not taken him off and he had been sent off then you would have been calling him out on that too. I'm not exactly in the Alf must stay camp but I think you're being a tad harsh if you're criticising him for taking off a guy who is known as being mental and who is clearly being wound up by the opposition

To be fair Said is a ticking time bomb in the warm up so when he had been booked the other team are just going to push him until he snaps

I think this is where I am too. I saw enough today to suggest that he hasn't lost the dressing room however if we haven't got at least 3 or maybe even 4 points from the next 2 games then I think it would have to be time up for Alfred. There were definite improvements today however if you cant score then you have to remain solid at the back and the comedy goals we lose each week suggest we are far from solid

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The signing of Vogts was initiated by Jens but Daws probably would obviously have been involved

Yeah it just feels like its not going to work with this manager. I don't want to be calling for a managers head in October but there's something not quite right and the early results papered over some of the cracks.
