Connor Sammon bound to score the winner too
-
Johnston was never ever going to reach that
-
If that had been Butcher on Kyogo the ref would have shown the red card without even waiting on VAR
-
Noticed when he came off he was totally ignored by Kettlewell who is normally over with a hand shake. That may tell the story of whether or not he was following the managers instructions.
-
Yeah said this at the time, if it had went in I was convinced it would have been disallowed by VAR
-
In fairness he started off the move for the winning goal with a lovely pass out wide. His hold up play definitely improved in the 2nd half too. Not saying he's the answer to all our problems but there's something to work with and I think Kettlewell has shown enough in his time in charge to earn our backing
-
I'm presuming the player out is Barry Maguire. Kettlewell said today that Maguire leaving should allow us to get one over the line which would be Spencer

Devante Cole scores a hat-trick for Barnsley

St.Mirren away, surprise surprise in the next round
-
Do you Fancy taking one for the team tonight and just stay in and watch Eastenders instead? I promise I'll like every one of your jokes from now on if you don't go and we win!

Left back signed. James Furlong on loan from Brighton
-
Just signed for Barrow

If you watch the replay of the goal, Spittal must take about 50secs to get back in to a position to help out O’Donnell then sticks out a leg in a half hearted manner. We badly need a midfielder with a bit of defensive know how
-
Hammell would be nuts to take the job on, Alexander has left an absolute shambles on the park. Goss and McGinn get pass marks for me, not many more although Cornelius improved us and Robbie Mahon finally was freed from the upside down in stranger things.
-
Kenny Jackett would already be on a shoogly peg with some on here. I’ll get my coat 2 for the price of 1 there @grizzlyg

I know Robinson used to get criticism for his anywhere across the front 3 signings but you at least felt he had some sort of plan in place. We haven’t signed a left back despite it being the weakest area of a very weak team, instead bringing in a right back when we already have a current international in place (albeit he’s not played like an international player for us) and where we have a promising youngster waiting to come through. We’ve signed 2 centre halves in his time only to end up with the same pairing as we had when Robinson eventually ran out of energy to replace the team each preseason. Weve signed Tierney despite us not playing a system in which he fits, we’ve never replaced Watt and possibly worst of all we actually paid money for Efford
-
To be fair to Craigan he’s been fairly scathing of the Alexander reign for as long as I can remember. Clearly remember him noting how we didn’t really have any clear plan in place for attacking as far back as the league cup games last season. I wouldn’t be averse to him coming in as manager but can’t see it happening unfortunately
-
Are we at the stage yet where we want Sligo to keep scoring to get rid of the manager?
-
Unfortunately Bevis deciding to needlessly lunge in has probably cost us.

Jim Gannon’s spaceship was moored at Prestwick Airport

This really winds me up too, I’m sure there was one yesterday where the ball went out in the Ross County half but they took the throw in from out half. These things very rarely make any difference apart from setting off my OCD
-
That’s surely a good thing, because if they have no idea what we are trying to do then they’ll have no idea how to stop us doing whatever it is we are doing. Is it as good to watch as McCalls team with Ojaama, Higdon etc - No Its not as entertaining as Bowman and Louis smashing their way to 2 cup finals but since we’ve adopted this “style of play” we’ve won 7pts out of 9 in the league which I can live with in the short to medium term
-
Louis Moult ruled out for five months with an ankle injury
-
Now why did you go and have to drag him up. I’m away to go and lie in a darkened room. Not only that Jurgen Klinsmann is on the tv to really rub it in

Delighted for SOD, what a brilliant performance from everyone
