  1. O'Brien for me. He does take too much time on the ball and loses opportunities sometimes, but the fact is he's creating space and getting into good space in the first place
  2. Cheers for that, I'm sure he'll find it
  3. Possibly a ridiculous question but is the turf being sold outside? Does that sale start at 12 too? Sorry I know these are daft questions but I think my Dad is jumping up for my "slice" and not being a well fan he's never really up at fir park so I need to give instructions.
  4. I was talking to a Killie fan at the train station, apparently he had a minature inflatable parrot confiscated. Was on the train with tons of them, aye some of them had had a wee drink but that's what away days are about. They just wanted a laugh not to cause any trouble.
  5. Game of the season: Motherwell 1 v 1 Celtic - The United result was a great one but unfortunately I wasn't there so I'll go for this game. Goal of the season: John Suttons at Ibrox. What a goal. Player of the season: I think Quinn has been really good this season, seems a lot more comfortable and has put in a few really good shifts. BUT I'll need to go for David Clarkson. The choice speaks for itself really. Best moment: Unfortunately didn't make it to Nancy, but Quinn doing keepy uppies before the penalty was immense. Worst Moment: Our pitch is rotten. That and any moment I've spent arguing with folk who get on Reynolds back before he's even been near the ball. Suprise of the year: Klimpl making a start for us in general. Worst player of the year: Bob Malcom. I feel embarrased for him. Young player of the year: Jim O'Brien. The improvement in his game since the start of the season has been quality. Overall: Another mixed season but I'm happy enough with the way it went. Roll on next season!
  6. Exactly! There is a HUGE difference between picking up wee niggly injuries that keep you out for a few weeks, then you come back in and get the same/another wee niggly injury and being injured through anothers poor tackling ability. I personally think he could be a cracker of a player as he looks to be improving by being back in the team and if we let him go we'll regret it. Well said
  7. I'd be pretty miffed if we don't sign McLean up. Can't see him being in the position to be commanding big wages or what not and I've seen nothing really to suggest he can't do a job, he certainly puts in a shift. I don't honestly see who we could, in our financial position, sign that would be better than him.
  8. Can only echo what has been said, only so many ways you can say it. Delighted about ticket prices for Saturday. I wasn't convinced we'd get anywhere near a good crowd but hopefully now a good home support and a good away support will lead to a good atmosphere and hopefully a cracking game (which we win). Hope Boyles away for a lie down now.
  9. I think if we watch Andy Dorman and Jack Ross we'll be ok. If Hibs play like they did tonight they shouldn't beat Rangers. Craigan just said on the telly there he might not make the match and that would be a huge miss.
  10. Totally agree, never a penalty. There's always going to be a certain amount of referees interpreting things differently but differences on decisions like this are, as you say Flow, frustrating to say the least.
  11. Nine times out of ten any player gets booed they score. Also the Kris Boyd thing has been done to death. He's not going to change his mind cause you boo him, it just spurs him on. I think the key is to just get right behind the Well. I really think we can take something and I'm gutted I can't make it!

I think the teasers going to be of the upper left shoulder
  13. I think it's always difficult to compare players on how many goals per game they have as a lot of it depends on how good the players around you are.
  14. To be fair I think we'd survive without McGhee, I'm more worried about the effect it would have players who we haven't tied down yet. I think McGhee would hold out for a team down South if he had any inclination that a job might come up down there sooner rather than later.
  15. Aye I know he created that goal. I really like O'Brien, I think he's a good player therefore can stick in a shift on the left. BUT I just think he is so much better on the right.
  16. Flow, your right in what your saying, I don't think we had a devine right to win yesterday. However, we had no fluidity at all yesterday and looked like we had no ideas. That's annoying.
  17. I would really love to give Reynolds a shot in midfield. I think he could really do a job for us there and with McLean back giving him a wee shot there would be do-able. As for playing O'Brien on the left it's pointless.
  18. He is indeed the man! I was just wondering the other day how long he had been at the club. A true servant.
  19. I think we'll line up the same as last week. It'll be a hard game but we'll win 2-0, O'Brien with the first and Clarky on to grab a goal
  20. St Mirren game it should be then!
  21. I think he's rated so highly because he's a bit of a character, could be one of the "no quite right in the heid" type. We like that, it's a break from the norm.
  22. Do it. Cancel the flags, re-write the song and start talking about all his yellow cards in a negative way... Edit; and shoot his agent
  23. Get the flags out. We need him to know how much we want him to stay because there'll be other teams sniffing about. Perhaps being a cult hero would appeal to him....
  24. Slightly different to your favourite every player. Who was your first favourite player? Before you knew about tactics and what not who did you just decide spur of the moment, as you do when your younger, was going to be your favourite player? Doesn't need to be a reason (my wee brothers was Danny Murphy ) I remember quite liking Lee McCulloch when I first started getting into going to games a lot, but the first player I remember calling my favourite was Ged Brannan.
  25. Oooh I hope that's true! Mon Klimpl
