What gives you the right to decide you will speak for ALL Motherwell fans rather than just your "handful of members". If the core support wanted you to "gauge their issues", they would have joined the Trust. For you to suggest that ALL Motherwell fans questions are filtered through the Trust oversteps the mark by a long way. Any questions I have for Leanne Dempster will be made to Leanne Dempster, any responses will be put on this forum, whether relevant or not. I'm damn sure I'm not having some stranger I've never met going into a meeting putting my points in his own sweet way, then deciding whether the response is relevant to publish. Yes, but hunger and effort would quickly be negated by inexperience and naivete. We're missing McCormack, and the replacement, Sutton, is a totally different type of player. He's the exact same as Porter, so playing them together is a nonsense. It has to be either/or, team one of them with Clarkson and give Murphy free reign to wander everywhere in the gap behind them. More than anything else, it was McCormack's movement last season that created space for Clarkson and Porter.

Honesty, and to be made aware of all news that affects the club from the club as and when it happens. We learnt that Motherwell had breached a couple of rules regarding the undersoil heating from the Kilmarnock website and subsequent newspaper articles. The club have yet to issue a statement, or even comment on it, they haven't even mentioned it in the website. It's like Pravda in the 1960's, they aren't allowed to publish any bad news.

So you've had dealings with her before, and more than once obviously if you're prepared to vouch for her integrity. Which makes her swift response and continued efforts to contact you a lot less impressive than I first gave her credit for. I'll wait and see how she deals with the ordinary punters rather than her friends and acquaintances.

RIP Charlie. Flow, there is a photo in the Images of Sport book "Motherwell Football Club 1886-1999" of the seven surviving 1952 Cup Winners at Hampden the week before the 1991 final with the Scottish Cup. John Swinburne is also in the picture and he compiled the book. I hope this helps.

I dont know if I've put this up here before, but it bears repeating. Motherwell were forced to put in USH by the SPL, and apparently the installation of the USH disturbed the subsoil which was laden with decayed roots from the Fir trees which were once there. Ths disturbance caused the damage to the drainage system last season and may very well have caused the recent problem. It's a total joke if the SPL fine us, clubs like Motherwell can't afford games to be off they lose revenue, wages still have to be paid if matches are off. The revenue lost by playing this match on a wednesday night as opposed to a Saturday afternoon is significant enough to ensure that any club would work their socks off to make sure the game is played at it's correct time. I reckon we'll be punished but it wont be for Saturday it'll be for last season.
