should be at most a monthly roundup, not a match by match spin when we'er shit, its too much spin every week trying to gloss over the negativity seemed like a great idea on paper boss speaking every week, but in reality its doesnt always promote positive vibes

some fantastic evocative posts, was at a lot of the games mentioned and had similar emotive experiences with huge highs from thrilling games but on a slighlty different trait McGhees first? league game at St Mirren, season opener 2007, was a fantastic experience as a Motherwell fan, after a thoroughly depressing season, watching that game filled me with genuine hope and even belief that we were going to see some cracking football. the fitness, formation, fast movement of the ball was a pleasure to watch, every single player looked like they were perfect for their role, it was like a new dawn. G Smith Quinn Craigan Reynolds Paterson Lasley O'Donnell Fitzpatrick Clarkson Porter McGarry some of the football we played in the first part of that season delivered on that early hope and belief, and the last game of 2007 vs Dundee Utd, could easily be considered for every ones top five, the terrible news that broke soon after fulltime that day will mean that even the fantastic football on show that day gets overshadowed by the tragic event,we witnessed but didn't fully appreciate until later in the day. RIP Phil

Nail on Head wheres all this cash to strengthen coming from? Club has to be self sufficient now, gate income undoubtedly down at present and no doubt dropping further due to the whoring out to a fantasy TV deal with the league restructure contracts will be getting cut, senior players will probably move on as the deals on offer will most likely not even maintain their income Mcall will be given time as its a transition period and someone needs to be in charge when we dont 'punch above our weight' for at least a year or two. some more realistic hopes need to be set by supporters, 7th in a league of 12 is pretty good for a club with Motherwells clout. 9th in a league of 10 will be a huge success when others gamble what money they have (or dont in some cases) on staying in the league and we continue on the self sufficient spending route. But even I can dream ...... if only there was another Cooper, Coyne or O'Donnell out there looking for a club just like ours, to help the next Mcfadden, Pearson, Clarkson, Reynolds,

Jeez oh! highlights not exactly flattering Hammell Huthinson and Gunning look like they got roasted lack of preparation?, Hammell let left footed Sutherland go onto his good foot Gunning tried to hold the line too high and stayed static allowing runners through a couple of times and big Hutch looked worng sided a few times trying to recover not pretty oh and nae luck humph

maybe the Dundee game and the Celtic game , the players were giving a fuk and were doing the job they are paid to do,( on TV as well ) not surprised in the slightest by the weak performances, must be hard, no , nigh on impossible to motivate players that have been around a club where: despite some terrfic performances year in year out delivering truly awesome success in relative terms manager after manager leaves them behind, a chairman who despite any good work has left the club stranded with no capital and constantly cutting running costs, which these same players will now be feeling in their wage packets they watc hundreds of thousands of pounds get wasted on dissapearing grass a board who have publicly declared their intentions to invest in youth, wonder how that affects senior players and fans that publicly berate them on the slightest mistake club is in transition, who knows where it'll end up, but for now we'll have to accept what is on the table/pitch no point in in getting yourself worked up over poor choices, nothing will change short term

he didn't lose meekly to St Mirren immediately after Aberdeen he beat Hamilton
-

maybes a freudian slip there gilmour

was about half past before I heard them mention Sutton & Murphy
-
Bigotted & racist keep going boys your not half looking dumb as fuck tremendous thread
-
no replay showed it came back out cleanly, big yins getting closer every week tho
-
Shaun Hutchinson, for me, Solid! in defense, and came so close to a goal on a couple of occasions, he will get back into the scoring charts very difficult however as Sutton, Randolph, Gunning, Hammell, Las and Jenno were all superb with the others not all that far behind
-
take the good points and the bad points from the games hes managed and do his job some of the forced changes, we've seen really good performances from those that stepped in some of the tinkering didn't seem to work as well, McCall is still on the learning curve but I would agree in general if someone steps in and has a stormer then why should they drop out
-
Pitch doesn't look the £1,000,000+ its cost but it actually seems to be showing signs of improvement, some half decent weather and the fresh seeding and hopefully appropriate maintenance and it's in with half a chance

tremendous well done to Stuart McCall and the players some massive performances from what you could barely call a squad today.even the easy targets contributed a tremendous amount today wether it was breaking up play or taking the ball for a walk to eat up the time Gonna be a difficult MOTM and for all the good reasons. Sutton, Hutchinson, Gunning, Hammell, Lasley, Jennings, and big Randolph shouldn't be forgotten he made some big stops to keep them out
-
I know that, no blame intended
