  1. at 0-0 In Murphs last game at Celtic park, we got a penalty when Murph himself ran in on goal (argued by them, most of us thought it was legit) and at the end of the season maybe the last ever Rangers vs Motherwell game we were given a penalty as Murph went down, was 'soft' at best edit might not have been last game pre liquidation, but was end of season game maybe last time we scored to gain a point or something?
  2. So they are in a far superior position and clearly better run than the Rangers then ?
  3. Game was televised, no need for casual punters to pay any cash out terrible and quite erratic match scheduling leaving no routine to work to Holiday weekend that had no fixture details available until around two weeks prior £25 ticket entry Generally unpleasant atmosphere portrayed by police and media around football games. play the same teams, over and over and over and over again..... 10 goals against, 0 for in previous meetings this season Split takes momentum out league A lot of kids missing at old firm visits, i'm not sure if the youth academies do not get their usual allocation or if they just stay away from the unpleasant visitors pretty sure the few hundred youth organisation tickets don't get allocated and quite significantly as nothing can be done about the above, the positive and forward thinking season ticket policy of our club, does nothing to encourage casual punters or visiting fans to visit and return time after time core support has remained similar for decades, visiting support is what has declined
  4. I dunno if its bullshit I was at game, but as you imply if it had been in the bois you would probably have been fine with it, TV coverage cutting to fans who actually go to matches enjoying themselves as part of match coverage, I reckon that's not a disgrace, maybe they should have been showing all the well fans leaving early? Or empty sections? I'd rather focus on getting fans back into grounds, which a 6 goal thriller in the sunshine and with both sets of fans having highs n lows, does me fine.... Now if only we had scored one more from the 4 or 5 goal line clearances
  5. not really a disgrace that sky showed fans celebrating is it? part of improving the image of the game encouraging and promoting positive atmosphere, bit unprofessional if they missed the goal altogether but courtesy of the swami in the shoutbox, for all the TV viewers and the many hundreds that left early here is another chance highlights link http://fr.proxfree.com/permalink.php?url=yx%2BhnYCyg4s24iThgBXg7eD%2BgixM%2BhdmOP7qE3TZgUPGSfsf7LeHtDYQ87JaF8Yqh3N4t6KOBBfuiTJ%2F%2F9%2BUNQ%3D%3D&bit=1

    Celtic

Hard to filter it all out for a balanced view with passion running so high, But Jack Leitch was immense, outstanding performance from a player at any stage of their career and big Hutch is a machine , he might make the occasional error but losing the fight he brings us is gonna hurt
  7. update folks, Prepared ticket stubs, one for every £5 contribution and went up to the ticket office last night where Wendy, was kind enough to draw the winners names out Weeyin, gets Stuart Carswells top Toxteth_oGrady , gets Euan Murrays both guys also receive an invite to the annual sponsors event. I've managed to contact WeeYin, edit: and Toxteth but Toxteth is in hiding, if you know him please give him a nudge to respond to PM or email, I'm not a Nigerian general
  8. yeah, I'm also happy enough at seeing a small increase after three years of the price being held for adults, anybody that benefits from the added kids ticket/s on the Well'evate scheme is still getting a great deal, the board also seem keen to point out that, with home cup games the requirement to effectively pay the opposition in the region of a tenner for every home season ticket holder attending, can led to losses on home games , makes commercial sense to remove them, I'd hope that the club still take a sensible approach to pricing the early rounds of and cup games we do participate in, as the sad thing I continue to see, despite the boards progressive approach to ticketing is far too high a walk up price to nearly every game. I don't see how we are every going to get back lapsed fans or hook in those that get freebies or offers, charging home and visiting fans around £22/£24 for any other game they come along to. but Season tickets, no grudge for around £30 ish quid from me, or a £10-12 each if I split it over the two kids bolt ons
  9. Or the DEEP END as it was christened a few season back. (whos got the photo?) or was that to do with the overflowing pissers running down the stand?
  10. Making it up might sound harsh, but yeah, as you have very kindly shown, we match them almost exactly, but you focus on the defeats and ignore the victories. and all the while we're finishing above them.. I'm tired as well, Goodnight EDIT: PS I'll be as delighted as anyone could be, if they go down, because I detest how closely matched we are in every way and it sometimes it seems to show on the pitch, I have to be persuaded to go to their place every time, even though its the simplest away trip out, and they even have the most sensible gate prices in league, but still its a chore. the league setup probably doesn't help we faced each other 6 times a few seasons ago.
  11. you at the game Caller? struggle against St Mirren this season? we were 5 minutes away from 3 victories this season they should have been down to ten men they were gifted a goal for a player heading the ball they should have been down to nine men as it is we beat them twice lost once six points from nine against a team almost identical in crowds income budget turnover wages we do that against the other similar clubs and we'd be where we are , better off than them. they do it to us and I doubt they would be wetting their pants about only matching them over a 7 year period
  12. holy fuck this is special even for on here its a worrying trend that we have finished above them every season? , but have only matched them in head to heads? imagine that a club on an almost identical turnover and wage ratio match us sometimes but overall we do better how can the Motherwell management team sleep at night
  13. How many points? .....Enough
  14. highlights up on the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/26913880 clearly ball to face from one angle, if ref didn't see it he cannot give it Brines indicates to one of our players he got a shout in earpiece from someone..... usual highlights gloss over and just miss out other major incidents

    St Mirren

plenty players had decent games, Nielsen gets vote for the 4 or 5 saves that were magnificent
  16. Pretty embarrassing reaction from some who didn't witness anything today. sure some of the points can refer to other games but reflect little on todays game we were never , really on top in the first half, I commented that a neutral would probably enjoy the game it was literally end to end at times brilliant effort from the team to get us in front, but being honest , the lead flattered us in the number of chances St Mirren had with set pieces. so when the inevitable happened 1-2 at HT seemed a fair reflection Quite a few chances in the second for both sides, but as has been said, game was all but finished. Gunnar had played a blinder keeping us in it and game was winding down until Brines input. Goodwin and the wee Aberdeen boy should've been shown red and the penalty? I swore it was his face from the other side of the ground hand extended probably helped swing it..... look forward to the video Disappointed that once again McCalls Motherwell chucked a good lead, the substitutions seemed strange and done nothing to lift our team, whereas replacing Goodwin etc gave them drive, but most of us were already looking at the league table and other results
  17. Historically, Bottom six get their full payment months before top six Been commented on at many meetings that finishing top six whilst more rewarding is a financial chore for clubs low on cash and without credit facilities The change to SPFL could have ironed out some of the difficulties, no doubt we'll find out in years to come
  18. did they not say it was , the generous league finish bonus scheme, in relation to the much reduced league payment for 2nd place rather than individual game bonus that had the effect? Besides, this year has seen cuts not seen for many years, sensible, sadly Doncaster failings might still upend the good work but aye, your not going to get me worrying about winning too many games, that would be like saying maybe we shouldn't bother about European football.......!
  19. complain to the club, they are the SPFL, the split is the problem, although this season, every fan will likely find out weeks earlier than could be guaranteed. everybody enjoy the 12 & 13th weekend of the cup semi finals off. wonder if the club have a U21 match they could be promoting for that weekend?
  20. maybe a right sided midfielder would have been a better option than both?
  21. Cheers, so as fans we have a weekend off, feckers might advertise that a wee bit in advance! what to do now?
  22. anybody recall if Scottish cup semi final weekend (12/13th April) normally has a premiership top league card? the last game before split is Monday 7th
  23. Maybe the difference this week was a hangover from last weeks piss up, at least this time there were no injuries
  24. This Cup performances and today's second half means he'll be not be in contention
