I'd love it to be Stevie Woods, just for the rich pickings

going for our fifth straight home win in the league on Sunday, for the first time in a couple of years ,and even then that was one of our best seasons ever finishing third to the old firm. too many now thinking they are entitled to something better than that , even though that's still above ranking. only made the second half on Wednesday and it was fascinating stuff, with wave after wave of attack, from both wings, all the folk that are saying we didn't try are clearly distracted by the need to feel hard done by, sure there were plenty of flaws like the midfield not getting close enough to support second chances etc. and Defence slipping for the first. but me and my mate and the kids were out our seats more than ten times in those 45mins, with chances and great moves with skills and trickery, driving us into the box, loads of corners and a fair few chances, including hitting the woodwork, near misses and last ditch blocks. Aberdeen were tremendous in defence, we weren't good enough to unlock them, get over it, it happens. Last Sundays game was a write off for other reasons, but with good intent, it didn't work (again) so hopefully McCall has learned that his personal choice of fucking about prior to a bigger game never works and doesn't try it again if we ever have an option. Will be quite pleased if we set up this Sunday as we did starting the second half v Aberdeen, maybe with Vigurs for Lawson. be even more pleased if Anier does as he's told and stays in the middle, and despite enjoying both wingers trickery, I'd like them to vary it at times, and push up to receive the ball instead of always dropping back. but still for guys that don't really have that much experience of those roles, I'm just pleased to see them developing and delivering good chances and more importantly scaring the shit out of fullbacks

Airdrie looking for a new manager, any of our licensed coaches be interested in the step down

your £22 and many others likely as well, I'll not be there, looking at the schedule a while back the decision was always to sacrifice this one to pick up on a couple of others marginal argument that of all the deals the Alba deal is the preferable, Limited disruption to weekend match scheduling but with decent exposure of the product. shame for St Johnstone, as we've had a good wee crowd up there a few times and an enjoyable few visits. still reckon Sunday 16:05 is preferable to 12:30 the Sunday after at home vs Hibs

the something you missed might be the last couple of decades? that's just how it is these days TV companies pay money and show games live to suit their schedule

The more things change, the more they........move beyond? Lots of things changing, too many at times, been great picking up the fanzine type thing, over the years Got the latest edition, issue 98, through the mail today, just missed my train into town for a sesh, as I started reading it, instead of getting ready. its good no' too bad, and I'm looking forward to the last couple. be hoping for a Still Game style return with a Christmas special in the future years. but appreciate every issues as it is. Cheers MJ

or roundabout 2002 Lehman and Faddy put us two up at Tynecastle, only to lose four from around 40minutes on, beat them 6-1 a month or so later at the Ark though...
-
took the lead at Tynie a number of times and lost 1-4, 2-4 but not 3 up at halftime and lost from what I recall

there's always benefit to having the club and players promoted in the press maybe, the more things change, then some of them stick.... Hopefully there is plenty speculation and chat in the media over the next few years for Zaine and others and plenty of press on how well former players do.......£££

Good luck to him

would we not have to subsidise around 40% of those gate prices for each season ticket holder?
-
£17 at our place for a concession for them as visiting fans, £25 for adult Every club are ripping the heart out it

TV companies are blinkered by viewing figures only, And like it or not Edinburgh derby will have more viewers, Changing slightly though as, you now have former leech like figures such as Hugh keevins talking up all the other matches he's attended as worthwhile viewing, sadly for every one that has realised they were part of the problem you have two like chic young and mark guidi still sticking the boot in and harking on about sevco

All part of the transition from wee club to big club, need the exposure and the media to keep the stories ticking over.

Now standard practice a Tannadice for us, nothing new Don't worry, about atmosphere, United pipe in applause through the PA system to make it less morgue like As for price, We screw more out visiting fans and PATG punters in the Cooper and O'Donnell stands,
-
Amberbam you got an personal connection, your post read like a relative rather than general fan, not that it matters really Game just finished at the creamery, a two nil victory over St Mirren, Dominic Thomas scoring then setting up Moore Ainsworth getting game time, and Ross Stewart getting praise in goals

No flares were in the stadium, flares are dangerous HEAVY HANDS EMPTY STANDS

How much would it cost to decorate a two bedroom flat?

A lager pump/chiller doesn't take up much space, the barrels might Chiller under counters at kiosks, barrels in some dead space under pie ovens or the like 8ft high cheap panels along the railings behind the last row of seats in each section That would cover the basics Do I see it happening? Probably not The club can't even make the cooper a decent option pre/post match for those of us looking at options

his one great vision was to tell Sky to GTF, or is that a myth.....

Is that Yassin Moutaouakil on the phones?
-
had high hopes for him this season, delighted with Aniers contribution but effectively blocked any hope Lee had of a breakthrough barring injury any bids trying to rob us or Scottish clubs yet?
-
It's on BT sport

aye its no surprise, but it does surprise me our board continually miss this point, likewise with the PATG punters we attract back for headline games. not so sure we'll pump Killie tho', reckon we have enough to win, depends on what tinkering McCall does. a few wee tweaks should be enough, just hope Carswell continues his development, and Faddy gets a role inside

One seed place left likely to go to Dundee united, but if Dumbarton win that game Dundee pick up seeding So yeah thistle highest place potential opponents
