You only have issue with it being them, he's been the same for all his time on twitter, either you didn't follow him or it wasn't an issue with any other team, he was away on other business, snatching at snippets of info and no doubt hoping for a good result, not being aware of the disgraceful performance, he said what he said in line with what he always does, he didn't single out Rangers for praise, u are making out he did, he probably didn't reply cause if your query was anything like your blinkered approach on here he probably thinks you're a knuckle dragging reactionary desperate to create an issue with a board member
-
And similar best wishes to Levante etc, just the nature of the man , pleasant and courteous at all times, *reserves the right to not be genuinely pleasant towards Broon & Co if you follow him long enough
-
You usually deal in facts , disappointed you resort to exaggeration with this subject Much like Porter or O'Donnell, for a good player with a questionable fitness level sometimes a wee club like ours would have to take some risk, I'd expect the club management to build in some safeguards to manage the risk All of this on the 'Rumour' that he would even entertain playing for us, or that we have budgets for one or two players based on hearsay that TV deals are to be paid etc A player that I've watched lift an entire stadium of fans many times in the last ten years, and take on whole teams when others were hiding and passing the buck to him, even when he was having a mare and the manager was crucifying him, he never hid, just the qualities we need bolstering, off course there are many IFs in the picture, but I'd fucking love it to see Faddy and Ojamaa running towards any defence But yes we need a central midfielder or at least a manager that will at least try and develop a youth player instead of fucking about with defenders in there
-
Someone to feed Higgy & partner and also chip in with a few goals wouldn't exactly harm the side, Someone that's shown no fear against mightier opposition Someone that's just that wee bit Gallus and entertaining Nah yir right fuk him, aye right

Perfectly, so we should be competing with and beating Rangers then. Its all got a bit blurred on here, I'm still of the opinion top six is an achievement for Motherwell and even with recent 'form' I'd still only be looking for that, as to be honest we've been pretty poor, at times, in every match. Even in our comfortable? win, ICT probably felt robbed. But on a fixture by fixture outlook, I expect the team to challenge everyone we meet. I don't expect to beat them all, so losses are to be expected, I can live with that if the team go down fighting I expect the manager, to see weaknesses in our small squad and try and adapt to over come them. I also expect him to have to experiment a little because of the small squad, so if he tries something and its a massive fail, I can live with that if he makes those same mistakes with players and or tactics over and over again, I'll sound off about it, initially it'll be on here, well because its where many of us discuss Motherwell, pro's and con's Motherwell might not be the most glamourous club to manage or run or support and we might have limited resources etc but as fans we need to believe that the money and support we give the club is being used to give us at least a fighting chance against 'ALL' our opponents. Wednesday felt like we were let down on that front, some aspects of todays game, also felt like a let down, but only on the back of Wednesday.

just so I'm clear, we should be competing with and beating city clubs?

guaranteed to miss the next one now Jonah! easy choice this week
-
Yip three good crosses in the first 10-15mins then like everybody else on the planet except Stuart McCall they worked out he's right footed, and just forced him onto his left making him turn back, hope the lad walks away in January because we are fucking wasting him and others with our lack of coaching
-
he half right, it wasnt players attitude that cost us, albeit one or two had woeful games but that is the norm, or has been every game this season, the line up and lack of changes did cost us, I'm still raging that it was the same mistakes as in every game before, yet he didnt even try and manage them out our game, but they did talk a lot about all the flaws , whoopdefuckin doo! Stop sending them out every week to make the same mistakes, change it
-
it'll probably happen, with the growing discontent from McCalls quotes praising the Rangers support, sadly we could almost write it amongst ourselves Flow couldnt have been more direct in his attempt to give Stuart the opportunity to acknowledge the Wellfans, but all that was forthcoming was that sadly the fans had more belief than the players now its up for debate about whats said when etc but if repeatedly in the pressure situation of pre and post match interviews, his first thoughts are praise for opposition teams and their fans, then perhaps its his head that needs looked at he needs to be 100% focussing and talking about MFC, and even if thats bad, last night was about Motherwell losing, no mention of Rangers strengths should even be near his lips Hately in midfield has worked how many times? even recently Dundee he was swapped back, Aberdeen we capitulated a 2 goal lead, and last night was just a shocker Humphrey was pretty much a waste of a jersey from kick off although after the initial onslaught perhaps he'd have came back into the game, but after 20minutes it couldnt have been more obvious he was ineffective and should have been hooked (I know he can be a game winner etc, but it was that bad last night , Hollis would have been a better choice) and I still reckon we lost the 1st goal from yet another attack from his slack pass whats that now 5 games we've conceded from short corners, all very good talking about McCall, but sticking by the same players mistake after mistake is your choice, Cummins and Hutch isnt working, seems to be an easy option to see if Ramsden and one or other is better oh and maybe sort out men on the post? everything that cost us last night has been apparent in every game to date this season, just that last night, it wasnt shitty SPL opposition it was a team that were much hungrier and had nothing to lose and lets not kid ourselves that we see great football , half of them can't control and pass 5 yards 90% of the time we're where we are because the SPL experiment has set every club back ten years
-
it was during the game, that is the point! MCulloch had just blatently fouled two Motherwell players to get play stopped as Rangers man was down for around two -three minutes and we had continued playing, rightly so
-
Pleasantly surprised to see him impress when he came on, showed desire, and was night and day compared to Humphrey with his ability to think about each situation and choose to cross, beat a man, or retain possesion until support arrived all of that for about 5 minutes then, when he was blowing out his arse. he should never have been given a long term deal, if his character was known prior to signing, just another player in the Bob Malcolm mould who's happy to take cash and sit on his arse, or maybe its the managers who cant control these players?
-
Wish he was our player, or more so wish we had a player capable of half his bossing of games EDIT: probably the most embarasing thing of the night was Lasley putting an arm around Mcullochs shoulder after the big c**t had went through him to get play stopped for the dumbass Rangers player that was down who didnt have the braincell required to know about holding his head if he needs play stopped. almost apologetic like from Lasley, for not stopping play there was a winner in that period of play and someone who will always be a fine servant a good pro and very nearly a winner

anybody need a ticket for tonight ended up with a spare ( in Uddingston just now could drop it off localish or sort pre match) gie me a shout, gone now, cheers -
yeah thats all I was getting to see just the most recent but its all opened up again so can see the full list again Interesting that our statement says Rangers made statements welcoming our fans I cant find these quotes all I can find on Rangers official is Greens Waffling, saying he seen glints in the voting room that meant he knew Motherwell delegation didnt want to vote no but he goes on to remind the hordes that it was pressure from the Motherwell fans that made the club vote No so no welcome for us the fans then, only the board and team, although both Statements are pretty much waffle
-
Its a truly bizarre statement and I was admiring the fact that nearly every response on the Motherwell facebook page was saying as much now, I dont get to see the comments? is that just me that cant see them now or has the visibility been changed?
-
Hollis, Ramsden, Francis-Angol, Carswell, Murray, Page, Watt, Hetherington, Erwin Shirkie , Moore, Daley Team that is playing up at Dens at present, Big Lee Erwin pulling out in the warm up Ramsden, Daley & Francis Angol, played the first 65 minutes so will probably still be in with a shout for Wednesday ! Hollis just red carded? get the rule book out, ??

I thought we were keeping this a secret with the other stuff in the hidden forum?

Maurice Malpas would have made a sub in injury time
-
I agree Ojamaa was holding the ball, which is exactly what I seen Murphy do, in fact I would say he was specifically instructed to hold it, which would seem like the sensible thing to do at 1-2 1-3, in fact quite a few times he turned back to retain possession with Law etc good play at that point in the game shame when the ball went to the other side of the pitch it was given away needlessly quite a few times in the last ten minutes, thats probably where the sub or another sub should have happened
-
its harsh , but Id say the lack of managing during the game is what was the poorest performance,
-
very dissapointed some of the players knew to try and hold possession high up the pitch, others were too dumb and easily giving it away and a couple of subs even Erwin,Daley or ZFA sent on with the specific to hold the ball wouldnt have harmed running the clock down

looking forward to it some great away days at Ibrox in the last twenty years can't imagine missing it, just because its Ibrox Motherwell fans have been in good form at quite a few of them, most recent highlight was singing "we can see you walking away" at the dwindling hordes looking forward to singing "can you see who walked away" next week some day we will have the next Owen Coyle equivalent, If I miss it for family/work/being skint etc fine, but I'd hate to miss it just because its at Ibrox -
was quite keen to take in this game, but got a stag in Edinburgh on Saturday and will be in no state to travel up early Sunday if I'm home. a bit of shuffling and a few new faces being placed in the Aberdeen backroom team, wondering if they are preparing for Broon and Knoxs departure? Sheepies will not like it if we beat them again think Id bet a draw, but I hope we go for it: Hately Cummins(Ramsden) Hutchinson Hammell Kerr Law Lasley Angol Higdon Ojamaa would love to see us try this with the players on the left and right flanks, over lapping and swapping every so often when play allows, but I don't expect Stuart will try it
