Left the wee dram and walked down hill to left, Athens punters like a late drink and it's eventually cooling down must be just under 30'c now after 1am , heat is mental
-
I'd love us to have a go at them from the off, the heat here is unreal, well over 30'C at 10pm last night and looking the same for the rest of the week, today there is a breeze blowing which is helping a little but if its still conditions inside the stadium our players will be suffering so if we cant get in front and take a boost from it, I think Pana will just play us out in the conditions and probably kill us off if the players do get fatigued
-
They normally just print out a ticket fold it in half and stick it in a pre printed season book , so you should get it as you hand the payment over, but give it some time as it might be busy and you have forms to fill in
-
Just time for a quick pint in spoons at Edinburgh airport then down to heathrow , hopefully be a few Wellfans there as I ain't seen any here yet!

thought pana had less than 200 at Fir Park thanks for the info wembley-13 nearly gave you positive rep until you said we will lose
-
Cheers Jay, I'll get a chance on Sunday to plan it, but even that puts mind at rest that it'll be straight forward and reasonably cheap

was on last night to do a booking gave myself a budget of £500 but as I was picking hotels all the prices jumped £2-300 above that, was gutted , in a self harming way I looked in this thread earlier and saw maplewells post give eachother a wave from your respective pools then lucky bastards which made me go and look again at expedia and ended up booking Monday to Friday Edinburgh to Athens via Heathrow 4 nights in the novotel less than £500 BA all the way Cheers MapleWell EDIT: anybody getting into athens around 17:40 on Monday know the buses and stuff into town?

and a significant amount of damaged seats in the East stand, still plenty of wallopers in our support then
-
yeah thought it might be, as the flag was up real quick but I'm convinced the first was deliberate handball on the deck , the whole East corner of the Coop reacted instantly with the shout
-
Don't think I've seen anyone mention our two penalty claims in the second half First was a stonewaller IMHO , pana player on the deck in the box extended his arm to block the ball into the 6yd box Second claim, the offside flag was up when the pana player handled, couldn't tell from the cooper if it was offside but the linesman defo had flag up before hand

Thought Lasley would walk this, as I thought he was a stand out amongst some very good performances, didnt think he had a game like that left in him, delighted he did and hope to see many more pleased that a couple of the others are in the running though, bodes well for the season if we step on from it.

maybe its a mono broadcast as its not recorded or processed to stereo, due to the technology, cost not sure that commentary should be stereo in any case, although having it cover all the speaker channels should be ok
-
the problem with not following a set out process is it fails too many people, Ive got a mail to one of the commercial staff, asking to be put on the charter list from back in June, but never got put on it. which I can accept as I never followed up the official email address but then you argue those that showed initiative should get the places anyone willing to pay up deposits should be taken, the club were still adding to the reserve list the day before it was announced full 'as people always drop out, when it comes to paying', but then as my details were scribbled down on the back of the till log doubt they would have made it to the real list anyway that cant be a good scenario for the club as it generates additional workload going through unconfirmed lists, trying to contact people etc or for those on the list who can never be sure if they are even on it. on that I know the club are under staffed and over worked at times like this so can accept mistakes, but we've known about Europe for months we've known the 4 potential opposition teams for months, meaning a charter was all but guaranteed to happen, why wait until after the draw to start the official list, when everyone is overworked Letting people down in this manner, where they have followed the clubs request but have no early indication that they might not be high enough up the list to have any chance of getting the flights, means some will not consider the charter in the future

bang out of order
-
maybe ask when you are in getting season tickets as to what the current status is, I read its being reviewed, but maybe you are reading / seeing, the online purchase which is currently only one year at £52, which was recently set up Ive been in the lotto for a long time and it comes of as a standing order once a month equivalent to £1 per week for each Lotto entry (£4.33 ish a month from memory)
-
the clubs ability to budget on it being the main thing, rather than the more impulsive and easily forgotten need to donate manually I think its a decent idea, as direct debits/standing orders drop out of many peoples accounts every week/month and for small amounts even those that are on a tighter budget can maybe sign up BUT I still think that there needs to be some sort of potential reward for the majority ever to be interested, and maybe even justify in their own heads or within family budget I've said before and will always advocate the 'Well Lotto, mainly because I've seen it work for decades, now with some work going on behind the scenes to ready it for a bigger place as a fundraiser, I'm hopeful it will cover many peoples aspirations to support the club with a regular monthly donation I like santhemans suggestion as well that a regular direct debit to contribute towards something specific either for the fan but beneficial to the club ('well society) or maybe even for the club itself (physio gear/training/medical equipment etc) but would worry that it requires more administration etc that might hinder it, unless of course the members card comes about and each fans gets a members account type thing that is also digitally tracked for payments etc (but I'll just hope for the database errors to get sorted first!)

so are they relying on youth or playing all these new players (internationals) who havn't had tome to gel yet, you need to make up your mind Motehrwell89
