  4. The club are a wee bit busy just now, so it's probably been passed to the association to run, Although maybe a web announcement on the official would happen
  5. yeah, spot on Joeboy, guess I'm ahead of myself or maybe just being optimistic that we'll see him in a weeks time
  6. and has the most European appearances as a Motherwell player by my reckoning he maybe has dips in form, but as alluded to earlier he will go down in the history of the club as a player that contributed hell of a lot to one of the most successful eras of the club to date much rather he was here than not
  7. Thanks Mr H its arrived already thats the £700 all pledged folks Thank you to you all from myself I'm delighted that the strip money has been raised but even more delighted that folk are switched on to so many ways of contributing into the club Steelmenonline is also fundraising for a joint membership of the 'Well society, I think Andy P has a fair chuck of the money collected in already, but it would be nice to get the last hundred or so and even make some headway towards the ongoing costs of membership have a look at the fundraising thread by clicking here if you are interested and once again CHEERS
  8. another tenner pledged so when Cambo97 sends it, that brings the running total to £680 another £20 and thats us reached an outstanding £700 I'm tempted just to stick it in myself but will leave it to see if anyone new wants to contribute even a fiver

  11. he's only scored 4 goals, the two this last year and two in his earlier in his time with us against Partick Thistle on 28/02/2004 Hammell.Clarkson,Adams 3-0 Fir Park against Dundee United 12/01/2002 2-0 Faddy and Hammell at Fir park jog any memories?
  12. got another paypal transfer through cheers Big wispy Flossy Ive marked it up
  13. pay attention at the back of the class Aye , its the basis of the fundraising, £5 increments, to allow as many as possible to contribute and have one or more chances to win with each £5 contributed
  14. done the charters a few times and also done planes trains and automobiles on other occasions Charter offers a relatively seamless experience and although this ones not been finalised yet in the past they have included match ticket, transfers to Glasgow airport, flight direct to city of the game, transfer to city centre (Hotel which is sometimes included) transfer from city centre to match venue, transfer back to airport, flight home and possibly transfer back to the Ark, and as a bonus sometimes you will get the quite unique experience of traveling with the players and officials of MFC, now its not something that is paid for and some etiquette needs to be applied , but I've seen some priceless moments on some of them this time just looking at some of the flight times going out makes the charter look appealing, but I've not decided yet and at the end of the day if you can fly heathrow to Athens around midnight for £250 then its a fair whack cheaper just mind the costs involved in getting to London incl transport parking food drink on the longer journey etc and then getting into your hotel and the hotel itself and the equivalent on the way back not including time being a factor to some what you do get going that route however is freedom and no doubt a hell of an experience especially if you end up with a good group and have a good laugh and as for some saying the fans paying for charter are also paying for the players etc, Id love to live in their make believe world where charter planes and hotels etc cost pennies , if any profit is made on the fans charters it'll be in the terms of a few quid each no where near enough to cover 40 or so MFC staff and at the end of the day MFC needs money and thats generally what we as supporters bring to the table
  15. I emailed the group that had contributed the money upto about £400 with the suggestion that: both sponsored strips go into the raffle as two separate prizes and all the tickets go into the hat, but that no one can win both prizes or for other suggestions or objections with the feedback so far I reckon thats how we'll go with it once I get the final couple of contributions in. on that note Jam20 can you PM me an email address so I can keep you informed
