grrrr just lost my full post Las was poor, no very poor, Hammell had me worried but settled Saunders left me wondering WTF was he meant to be doing? he was all over the place Ramsden looked fairly assured and interesting to see McCall move him forward into midfield later in the game Page after a wee wobble early on looked pretty good, and good to see a player comfortable using both feet Hetherington impressed out of all the young lads, Watt looked overly keen and wasted some posession going for long range efforts etc but has potential some of our only spark came from Murphy but he is wasted in the midfield like the look of big Erwin but he was wasted tonight as he made so much space and had good movement but no one used him, always opting to hit Higdon with the thru' ball attacking some of the problem was just that they never knew who was doing what from the midfield up and they were getting in each others way running across each other etc now thats fine and its what preseason is for but champions league game is in 14 days I think we've left preseason too late this year and will struggle to get a starting eleven playing any more than a game together in the next fortnight

I think you can label it, as near as dammit match rigging if its known that the players used to win the match were not paid for and all associated costs were not being paid and then no action/punishment was taken which is what Steelboy suggests by just letting them finish second at our loss and then retain their position in the league and survive after being found out eDIT but aye, doubt we'll see much movement until the league payments are sorted or if we're lucky in europe

reckon you'll get a certificate pretty quickly but the actual brick/engraved tile depends on when the next batch is getting made and put up they contract a company to come in and put up a fair whack of them at the same time as opposed to one or two be worth asking when its next scheduled to happen(if there is a schedule as such or if its just as a certain number are sold)

smeddum I think you need to wait for the numbers from the club I think that just meeting the current expenditure will be a problem, let alone spending more the additional income you are guessing at will help the situation if it arrives but right now the club is facing a substantial loss the amount of that loss depends on media income which is why the situation needs to be finalised and numbers declared afaik the club made a loss to date in the current year, hence there was a fair chuck cut out the budget already, and with the Rangers debacle there is another unknown amount that will be missing from the budget due to the potential loss of TV revenue that unknown amount is what is almost guaranteed to hamper any signings
