    Everton

its Hammys testimonial fund that would receive it would it not? wondered about the straight donation at gates myself for club games, not sure how procedures work if each turnstyle operator balances their own takings etc maybe a question for the steelmen forever thread
  2. Thanks Phil checked and it arrived
  3. I think it has its place, its a simple easy to use but expensive tool, that allows non-commercial credit transactions, but the club should be adding the credit card charges and paypal to its list of things to do and replace them 2.5% charge for credit cards and more on paypal fees is too high for a business that probably takes more than £1000000 through these sources interesting to see ST Mirrens community ownership website only gets charged 1% for similar tools but I dont know that it reaches high on the to do list with limited staffing
  4. one of the most important thigs that needs fixed from today is Ojamma needs his arse kicked and in no uncertain terms telt that elbowing opposition players and squaring up to them in a meaningless pre season game in Scotland is unacceptable. he did look keen however, greedy at points but at least with a desire to make things happen, but thats no use if he's suspended we actually looked really good for 20?minutes, lots of good movmeent and touches , hit the post three times but after thet scored from their only venture into our half it was a different game, then Humphreys brain fart ( no not Dazzer the other one) killed the game off as competition, all out players heads went down and Ayr could see a big scalp. Randolph looked rusty, Saunders got bullied for the first didnt think he looked all that bad, allowing for his lack of games in the last year, didnt like the centre pairing although they could be ok, midfield had no spark and struggled to stop Ayr, forwards could have changed the game if they were sharper but hey thats what today was about getting match fitness up and seeing some players in different positions roll on tuesday edit: oh and was it big Lee Erwin? with the dodgy barnet, 6'2" mobile striker decent touch? deserved man of the match just for that haircut!
  5. 7 subs on Page & law survive along with the earlier subs Daley & Ojamma
  6. Yeah sieb he's standing next to me at Ayr so I'll let him know Cheers folks the contributions are great this year
  7. I stopped doing season tickets a while back after more than ten years, was quite happy paying my cash at the gate and taking my mates wee boy when I could he's been raised in a gers dominated family, strips, calenders, posters, birthday cakes the lot, but over ten years of gradually increasing his trips to see live football at Fir park and the occasional roadtrip he decided to buy himself a Well strip with his birthday money and he now talks about the 'well in terms of 'us' and 'we' So this season I was going to buy me and him a couple of season tickets but then after a couple of Scotland games his little sister decided she wants to start coming to Fir park with us now and again and his dad has decided Fir park is the place to be for football so thats now 2 adults paid for and a couple of wellevate season tickets that are all new to the ST numbers, Ive got some hope that maybe just maybe we can get through this year and then structure a sustainable setup I'm also working hard on pestering a few lapsed Well fans back into the fold with their families, one success from every group of regulars would stick another few hundred on the attendence
  8. done got your payment and another from Mad Dog, thanks as always Broke £300 in one day, delighted that fans are putting so much in, its always a bit of a gamble as I have to pay the money but the response this year is outstanding every £5 goes straight into the club I'm going to take a punt and underwrite a second strip

  18. EDIT: £700 Target has been raised folks EDIT: going for a £700 target to cover a second sponsorship so please join in if you can time to try and raise funds to sponsor a player it'll be the 8th time by the WTFC-steelmenonline forums If you want to join in, just pledge an amount in this thread and I'll add it to the first post as we go THE IDEA & COSTS It costs £350 to sponsor each players Euro-top, edit:target is now two tops @£350 each = £700 I've committed this money to the Club to reserve a top(edit: couple of tops now reserved) so hopefully as a group we can get the money together and help out The idea is that people contribute in multiples of £5 in order to get their name on 'raffle ticket' for a draw asap after payments are collected in. Each £5 increment will get a place in the draw The winner of the draw will receive the sponsors privileges ( sponsored top & opportunity to receive it at an end of season event) So, if you donate £5, you will get one chance at winning the strip/s, whereas a £20 donation will get you four chances and so on....... It's basically whatever you can afford, but £5 is the minimum pledge. I thought about making it £10 but folk in the past have pledged various multiples of £5 and it all goes into the club Most of us can't afford to sponsor a player ourselves, but doing it like this we can help support club and every fiver contributed has approximately a 1 in 60'ish chance of winning PAYMENT: Send PayPal payment to.... iainmande@hotmail.com , PayPal takes a cut but if the contribution is marked as a GIFT payment then I should receive the full amount and the sender covers the charge Please remember to include your board name in the PayPal payment so I can mark it off, and also that it's for sponsorship and remember its a GIFT payment message me with a PM or post here, if you require postal details to send a cheque or if you'd rather meet up and pay cash. I think Stuarty had a good evening the last time as the strip winner in the company of players and management and looked well chuffed with receiving Hutchinsons top. 19. wear the away strip and we'll be fine
  20. just to be clear, not today he wasnt and doubtful if at all, journalists talking and taking photos of him at Fir park today
  21. quite a few possibilities in there welldaft mk1 and most likely it was a combination of them all that led to the end of Jennings time at MFC I've no irk with the club or Jennings at this time If Jennings, Clancy and Craigan had took up options and then the SPl imploded we'd be in a even worse position , so good luck to them all, as long as it isnt against MFC
  22. as another number said, off the ball on radio scotland at the weekend, Tam Cowan was having polite dig at Jenno, Craggs revealed from text conversation with Jenno that he was as surprised as anyone to hear he was out, having not refused contract but wanting some details ironed out. now he might have been stalling when given a deadline or he might have been genuinely surprised to hear he was out, but he played well for the majority of his time here and delivered on what was asked of him, quite a laugh at dafties like gilmour and co calling out Jenno and others who leave, and saying the likes of good riddance , wonder if they'll be a supportive to the ex players turning up for Hammells testimonial
  23. Its been reported that Motherwell FC withdrew the contract offer before Jennings rejected or failed to agree it and he heard about it in the media, hardly cause to question the players loyalty or choice
  24. Twitter indicates money split with Rapid, maybe best returning tickets and donating the money or making a purchase on behalf of EOS although the gesture is tremendous, are Rapid wealthy club?
  25. Grangemouth stadium on Google only brings up one for me and postcode appears to be FK3 0EE
