It'll happen again this year I've already commited the money to the club BUT I'll hold off collections until Andy P gets the enough payments in to cover the cost of the steelmenonline joint 'Wellsociety membership he's not far off it, and then we can look at sticking together and putting another chunk into making sure we have steelmen forever if not guess I'll have two strips next summer!

will the Champions league games take place during the School holidays? Family fun day , BBQ, beer tent, shooty in goals, face painting £££? dont know if we've got the staff to achieve it
-
I said already I dont think split gates can be achieved, although 80/20 may be possible but the admin costs might make it not as worthwhile BUT taking any money away from clubs and paying it out at the end of the season will force many of them into an insolvency event clubs need money in asap St Mirren are getting desperate for last seasons SPL money to be paid out
-
and how about just a nice positive thread for a change? where we don't knock ideas, just boost what you feel are the good ones and let the club take them on if required? #steelmenforever

I asked the club about the opportunity to put more in, they are on the case and by the looks on twitter it will be soon worth remembering that we want the money to be as effective as possible so needs to go in through the most tax effective and profitable route. I'm all for money/spare change chutes to be dotted around the ground next to turnstyles-kiosks etc to let us put cash straight in when we attend in the meantime , plenty of current opportunities to put money in like my personal favourite which for around twenty years has trickled a little out of my bank account into the club Well Lotto clicky gets money straight into youth development and sometimes you even get a nice wee return, It's nice and easy to set up a cheeky wee standing order and it just rolls on every month nice and regular that the club can budget on

chemical castration might be the only answer

And by their own articles the SFA have said rangers should have been expelled or suspended Hows the SKY deal work then? We're all needing to get of the old firm teats and get on with life It's beyond farcical now The legal challenges if the rules aren't followed will definitely kill the game
-
no need to correct you, you are spot on I'm astounded that the club think this is OK and it just adds the the serious doubt in the board, £25 would've been questionable £30 is an insult, I've been looking to put extra into the club, as I said I would but we really need the extra income from casual attenders and new attenders and this pricing goes against everything that the clubs been working on who do they honestly think make up the 10,000+ attendances we've been lucky to have in Europe regulars bringing along brothers, sisters, wifes, girlfriends, boyfriends, neighbours, kids & their pals, work colleagues with a passing interest etc I can see the reaction now to , tickets on sale for a wee European night at Fir Park, you interested? Aye, how much this year? just £30? Whit? fuck that!

good job you weren't in Portugal EvenFlow, we'd never know about anything
-
I'll not be shelling out for the extras, I would usually buy tickets for the big games. I'll let them know the prices and they can choose for themselves more expensive than a cup final, deary me just wondering if all season ticket seats will be getting reserved until the date of the game is known? 20th July even though the general sale is form the 7th July as it does say only people who are available to attend on all 4 potential dates so purchase before the draw
-
doubt it, be the group stages before money like that is generated every game is potentially our biggest game if it leads somewhere, including a cup game that leads to euro game that leads to .....
-
majority of fans will have paid £25/£10 for family section or £28 for west stand for the cup final first ever champions league game isn't worth as much as that game or indeed as you are saying more than that club have got the pricing wrong if all tickets are £30, or you have got your good fan position wrong by claiming that is the pricing club needs money, fine many of us will put in money, but dont turn away the casual fans whose money is needed in addition to those that are already stupid enough to fund beyond whats sensible

Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
Brazilian replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
Doncaster got to tell the SFL how much the SPL are going to lose (£17+mill) as RAngers are requirement of the 2013 TV deal now Regan is addressing them -
so its now being publicly claimed that the main threat to Scottish football is this is also on the back of our own management, stating that the main threat is the loss of TV revenue which is not being guaranteed by the commercial partners not much we can do apart from make sure they know that pulling out or threatening Scottish football to the tune of £17million is unacceptable anyone think fan/customer power can get the message across, or would it harm prospects of retaining sponsorship deals? I've made my choice and just phoned up SKY and cancelled my full subscription, stated my reason for leaving as "SKYs threat to pull out of Scottish football" was told "but thats just speculation, at the moment" responded that they "have my one months notice to issue support for Scottish football to change my mind, but go ahead and cancel for now" pretty sure one dafty, cancelling for that reason will have no effect, but hey to be honest, I'll not stand by and watch MFC go under with no action,as they are taking the fair and honest decision and going with the choice of the fans it might be a pipe dream but if a significant number gave notice of cancellation from all the Scottish clubs then it may have the required outcome EDIT to cancel SKY 08442 410 266 option 3 then option 5, bastards even charge for the call to customer services if your not on sky phone

Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
Brazilian replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
can we get away from this leaked nonsense, it was sent out to the SFL clubs as a proposal, then it was reported on as it was outrageous, and since their was an SPL meeting with 11 clubs on the 28th, I'm still truly staggered that more SPL clubs didnt come out and distance themselves from it it is truly stinking of shameful knowing and cover up, probably due to the fact that those in charge still have no idea what the general fans think of the situation and their incompetence in dealing with basic rule being breached -

you know thats not true, no Rangers in any form! now if they get suspended yes, but as things stand right now with an application for SFA membership -
Rapid București its on the official site now All ticket due to limited capacity, 7pm ko, Grangemouth stadium (pic show athletics arena) £10 & £5

said as much yesterday but our club seems to operate a policy of working with these idiots and not speaking out against them we've been turned over in the recent past and always choose the polite route, something I dare say that has contributed to getting us a seat at the top table sadly now that we're at the top table, the club is getting damaged by association with these incompetents. I agree with that policy in principal but sometimes you need to break ranks and stand up for your own business/club on another note I shudder at the thought of Regan stepping in and resolving this, he has already indicated he thinks we need to retain Rangers in whatever form
-
not seen the article yet but I'm always wary of the split gates being proposed for league matches the club are already portraying a doomsday scenario when one other club failed what would happen to a budget where we relying on Celtic and Hearts supporters attending and they didn't for whatever reason...poor form...boycott.... transport/weather problems....we vote against them on an issue...etc I think I prefer the club being responsible for boosting our own gates and receiving the rewards longer term we're in enough crap living off others as it is

Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
Brazilian replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
I'm staggered that the 'document' has not even been run past the SPL board in full, for a piece of strategic restructuring not to have been reviewed when it is so damaging to club relations not only with their fans but with their associate clubs, surely needs further investigation and Derek Weir himself should be publicly declaring he was never involved and calling for a public enquiry to expose the people that are destroying public relations in Scottish football -
save money on champagne and get a new computer, as we're obviously not keeping you up to date in real time

Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
Brazilian replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
yeah but you missed the point flow wasnt addressing you, he was talking in general, -
not so good that you didn't get to vote, maybe going forward it would be simple to arrange a more local address for you to nominate someone to complete the forms for you Although I was impressed with the 10000hrs reaction to being tasked by the StMirren board to gather thoughts on the impending vote within hours they had an online voting system launched and every member got an email with a single use link on it, to vote on the 4 main questions I dont think web voting should be the only option to vote, but it should be an option going forward if only to save costs and catch overseas members in time

Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
Brazilian replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
thanks for the response 'Flow its great that you saw fit to respond I really think some of it should be official as hell of a low of people are taking decisons which will have an affect on MFCs future very valid and well put, let the 'well society members know by posting update on the official site so many questions still remain on this, talk of a document but what about the proposals in it? does it mean that Doncaster and co are working even without the SPL's board let alone all the clubs? surely that makes their positions untenable? its time for the SPL clubs to call him out and control their own destiny instead of letting him destroy what's left of their credibility Keep the honest information coming and I'm sure many will step up
