  1. game v Rapid on Monday 9th 7pm at Grangemouth is now on the SFA website but not on the MFC official???
  2. Just like all the Rangers fans you are going on about punishment for Administration that was dealt with by means of a ten point deduction - done, dusted, finito, comprende? again you compare it to Motherwell like all the Rangers fans, in administration being the only similarity to compare everything else was diffiernet, Motherwell could have continued to overspend and finish higher up the league, but no the administrator choose to do his job and take drastic cuts, RAngers continued to overspend by millions of pounds, due to clubs like Rangers being so disgusted by our club entering into Admin, rules were implemented which they were in breach of, Motherwell never breached any rules but hey you know that, your just one of the many blowing smoke around the issue This isn't about punishment for administration, this is about a fair and level playing field for all participants in the sport, Rangers failed to deal with administration, in part because they continued to overspend chasing glory and didn't take the required cuts, that led them in teh liquidation process and Rangers were no more, that means like all the teams before them they can apply to join the bottom of the professional leagues or the can buy another club if any are open to the sale the fact that its Rangers means everyone suffers, that maybe brings about the need for change, but that change needs to be done in an organised manner in the future, like the admin rules were changed after our event, but nothing should be changed at present until the matter of newco and their application if ever made to join the league is finalised BUT hey you know all that , you just seem to get off, on twisting whats happening and going with the opposite view of the majority, not unlike someone else on here
  3. yes and no as its worth remembering the SPL decision on newco hasn't been made yet who is to say all of these proposals are not, just, to scare the SPL no voters ever decreasing trust in those that are running the game, and I am concerned at those running our club after years of good positive moves, but all my doubt might be cast aside if they were to just come clean with the involvement and the real goals my faith in Derek Weir was already being tested with the league restructure sham time for him to stand up and declare if he's a Scottish football fan or an aspiring elitist willing to gamble the very substance and the future of our club and lead us down an ever more concerning and corruptible path or is he on board to deliver the core values the rest have been preaching all of the recent events have shown Scottish football has a lot of foundations to repair before building to the next level
  4. I'm hopeful that the SFL fight back as well And I'm probably so angry because of the need for them to fight back The silence from the SPL clubs today is astounding, when fans from all clubs are reacting to it as pure blackmail and being nothing but disruptive instead of moving the game forward But it's this nonsense from the SFA who are responding saying the restructure is not about one club yet only one club is getting selective treatment, I'm all for the proposed changes but not with with the specific inclusions around Rangers which should be completely separate dealings I fully expect some Spin tomorrow from the main players, and with that sentence I guess I've just realised I've now got no trust in what they have to say
  5. Come on Stoney this isn't the media, it's the SFL clubs that are reacting,As you point out, (what you miss is longmuir of the SFL backing its intro, then going quiet) if anything the normal media sources are dodging it and how's it meant to sell rangers season tickets? The SPL are guilty, and I'm afraid the SPL is the clubs including ours, unless Doncaster has went out on this alone
  6. Nobody is denying it, even the SFA is in on it And the SFL clubs are reacting to it Open your eyes http://m.stv.tv/sport/football/clubs/rangers/108463-in-full-document-sent-to-sfl-clubs-to-put-rangers-into-the-first-division/
  7. Wrong rangers share still exists as a 'club' they don't exist But that's just smoke and mirrors What's went on this past week is truly disgusting and the fact that MFC have a seat on the board of the SPL sickens me It is a truly vile tactic that has played out today Threatening the majority of league football in Scotland whilst continuing to ignore the majority of football fans all for the sake of the corrupt Rangers pound
  8. did I miss it as being official?, but the official site has first team training photos and includes trialist Simon Ramsden
  9. I know is just in spite, but he should get told to bolt, if he's not back within a few days, his physical fitness for the first 5-6 weeks of the last few seasons has been a disgrace after an lazy summer, where he's returned later than the others. if he wants Champions league football with Motherwell tell him to toe the line, if not give someone with the desire and professionalism the chance. Golden boy or not!
  10. when Celtic were on their knees out average attendances were higher, no reason why it will not happen this time around my mate is a lifelong Rangers fan, but stopped attending when he started a family, I've just about fully converted his 13 year old lad by simply bringing him to occasional games every season, no pressure just live football, his wee sister is now enquiring as to how she gets along her dad is now considering a family book for the cooper, a he now enjoys attending when he can with me and the boy and can see the benefits of avoiding all the politics of the old firm, but cant justify it on his present shifts, I'm drunk just now but am thinking I might just buy them one tomorrow to complete the mission
  11. comes with the territory Steelboy, the glory hunters are gonna start following the leaders
  12. Guess someone must read, or have received feedback, or just done the right thing
  13. yes and no the original deal was due to finish at the end of the up and coming season with an option to extend but a new SKY & ESPN 5 year deal was agreed and was due to kick in this season
  14. it is business sense to retain a market share and keep that market 'sweet' in order to sell all your other products to the same market as you say the SPL product isn't that attractive to a fair chunk of sky viewers but they trade on packages and filling air time, a number of Scottish fans may even justify their subscriptions though the inclusion of SPL football hence SKY never wasted anytime snapping up rights the last time setanta crashed. they also need to consider very carefully their image if teh other media were to turn on them for punishing a fair and honest sporting decision I think pressure needs to be applied to sky (i just think that petition isn't up to it, but hope I'm wrong)
  15. and as I said your going off on one with no thought to it, so batter in, your looking like an idiot and one that isnt even reading the answers he's craving for
  16. I think this is the type of suggestion we need to be looking to support the club, obviously everyone can only afford what they can, but if you could afford anything extra at a home game or even one or two games a season then it can only be good for the club at the very least the club will be needing the equivalent of 6000 extra PATG punters cash next season, I hope we can all help make up the shortfall
  17. Earth calling David, Hello! our club is reliant on every single penny it gets in! not just old firm money what planet have you been on the last decade, you think we've got a secret stash of cash somewhere? £500k was in the bank and a managed loss this season which all but removes the cash at bank, but with no credit facilities to cover any losses going forward every penny would have went to meeting the budget which has been reduced to £4.5million finishing third only got us around £150-250k more than expected hence the concern at the failures in the cup which have potential to generate hell of a lot more than a good league run (during the season, European reward for league place is next years income) in fact fek it your going off on one with no thought to it,batter in
  18. I also think the club laid it on quick thick with potential losses but recognise Other clubs all have banking terms which are more preferable to ours , a hangover of our time in administration I'm afraid We simply couldn't fund anything in the region of £500k losses , hence insolvency being a potential scenario
  19. its been posted in an article on motherwell mad/firparkcorner and the link is all over social media to be honest I thought about putting a scan on here this morning maybe in the protected forum, then seen it and thought everyone would have access to it there
  20. It was impartial, but confusing in that everything is compared to last year, instead of to a realistic budget and failed to include longer term outlooks extending beyond one season........ and with the point being a simple yes no vote on newco being allowed, they were not obliged to include the point that its looking entirely possible that even with a yes vote all the potential losses may still happen when Rangers are dealt with by the SFA, so the preparation had better be done either way, Guess that might have levelled folks decison who only think a no vote will bring the cuts when in actual fact a yes vote , along with Rangers punishment is a much worse scenario as potential losses from both scenarios hit home
  21. it appears that despite years of statements on our club not getting beyond itself and what now seems like lipservice to sound financial planning that we now budget for top six and cup success every year, and it seems that the performance related pay rewards more than the financial prize for success in the league and cup, I hope that is corrected asap if not already I'm surprised at the numbers are presented, and the assumptions in next years budget of top six but as it stands only the threat of a 40% cut in SPL sponsors cash i.e threat of losing from SKY cutting contract is the difference between the votes. and as its a threat that SKY have never made, nothing in the letter changes the fact that a newco has and never should be allowed to waltz straight back in anywhere other than the bottom of Scottish football. I hope financial experts at the club revisit how they are budgeting so that a successful season can put money in the bank instead of declaring losses but that in no way changes the fact that its a No vote from me, Scottish football needs to get back on track and take stock (again)
  22. yeah looks like you've got a scoop!
