  1. no not for this issue when the society is controlling the club, the society will in effect elect the board and the board will take the decisions, every single decision will not go to a mass vote, only extraordinary decisions would be passed back to a vote, PS there is a society thread to discuss these type of things
  2. from http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2012/06/21/well-society-to-vote-on-newco-rangers/
  3. the question to answer is simply yes/no decision, should sevco be allowed to take on the Rangers FC SPL share and besides 'No' being the just decision? do you honestly think there is any major piece of information missing from what's already in the public domain
  4. Me? No, but , if it was me you asked , you've probably asked the 1 of about 20 or 30 Motherwell fans who would say that I've had a grievance for many years about season ticket holders getting preferential treatment and inclusion when PATG and other fans get overlooked Not that it matters , just thought I'd explain my answer,
  5. east stand fan, email the club and ask, share when you get an answer
  6. by Special (see what I did there) request: Special AKA has asked this to be posted as he's computer less but I gather pretty chuffed at the decision of his club: PS not sure if he's on the sauce yet
  7. Celtic do not have a waiting list , no club does , phone up just now and they'll sell you one, did you not see the spaces last season? it changes your argument slightly as for once their fans actually might have some power
  8. I reckon it's still a crap shoot mad Vlad will take them on Steven Thomson has mumbled about having to take them on and if another one club takes the declares early enough that its a definite No then I reckon others could follow, so as not to lose the balance of the celtic visiting support but aye , right now, lottery
  9. how the fuck you meant to discuss things on here if it all gets deleted and locked things will naturally drop down board when they're finished
  10. I think its a foregone conclusion, but knowing Andy he will probably ask the contributors to the society membership for their thoughts
  11. its dead easy Read about it here on the official site 'Well Society section or contact them at wellsociety@motherwellfc.co.uk they've been great sorting stuff out for the folks I've put onto it
  12. It's a very positive move by the board as long as the 'impartial guidance document' is just that, with the exception of one unbalanced press release, they have excelled yet again on this matter and as such I'll be putting more cash into the club as best I can. be good if they could save club cash on providing this guidance by allowing those ready to vote the opportunity to do so,
  13. cleaned the paint splashes off the East stand steps?
  14. your forgetting you got a match ticket as well Special? and a coach from the hotel to the stadium...... and coach transfers Fir Park-Airport-Fir Park.......and the price (unless you got a discount!) Iceland was £420 + pay your own hotel Norway was £590 (dunno about hotel or even need for it) Denmark was as follows – · Single room - £580 · Twin room - £545 · Triple room - £535
  15. its the line leading into that OTF that I found the best and we will all hopefully be re-quoting, many times, in the next year, when voting rights and cash distribution etc get evened up
  16. I got an non-committal email response today from them on the subject of venue as I was going to book rail tickets
  17. think what david was trying to say on behalf of the mods and admin, maybes it wasnt the best idea to merge the threads as it now reads very badly to anyone joining the debate and make some responses look stupid out of context the poll has sadly been lost, a poll that many users and visitors from other clubs and groups have been referring to and sadly now cannot be seen, meaning there is no visual indicator of how Motherwell fans feel on the situation but it read something like FUK you I am steelmenonline and I done it, get over it
  18. yip wrong call, should've just stopped the new threads lets hope its the only wrong call!
  19. Sorry MB I was gonna try and respond but you have the issue so confused I've deleted it, i'll try a quick response you answer your own query point 1 about SPL rules on liquidated company by mentioning share transfer so yes they have rules, normally a board vote but re-assigned within the rules to a members vote and then you go a wandering but get to the point about tax evasion and EBTs and you want Rangers punished for either or, so just to point out, they have only been put into liquidation for Tax evasion, no other reason, HMRC were the only objectors to the CVA as Rangers didn't pay tax since Murray left, even before the big case comes to a decision as for sporting integrity, sport is a competitive, integrity keeps things equal, Rangers took at least £900k from us last season by not trading in the same market we did = cheated I get your business is not sport sport is not business, but sadly professional sport is business and needs guiding principals to keep it from being corrupt
  20. yip that was my thoughts as soon as I figured out who Andrew Lapping was, he's definitely a JB man, I've no doubt it was a way of him getting his thoughts into the press to stir debate
  21. Complete and utter bullshit scaremongering fuckin jog on with this 50% cut in playing staff, no credibility , nothing but an apologist for a yes vote , I'll tell u what cuts do need to be made But a yes vote will mean cuts as well The club even said that but you choose to miss it It's a shit situation caused by others, but a league where two clubs are literally treated like they can do no wrong will die
  22. I agree the board are only concerned with MFC but that includes watching others around us is the second part on admin just some more scaremongering or a is that a genuine question I'd say vote against them and explore options of funding our club, there are always other options ( my society standing order is just finishing, managed without for last few months so I'd maybe allow for another few payments, not much but maybe with others enough) (maybe folk would donate a few months SKY money as I be ditching them too if thats what screws the league) the statement also mentions that Rangers may be punished and put out the league for crimes that they have a case to still answer for, so the club should be preparing for life without them anyway its also my belief that keeping them in will deal a blow worse than losing them for a few years, but its just going over old debates
  23. the media officer tweeted amongst many points that it was "penned by the board and I am certain that what has been implied is not what they meant" or "what has been picked up incorrectly has been the context of what the statement intended. fans will play a part i'm sure of it" whilst I am grateful for the open communication from Flow and director Andrew Wilson over on twitter I am still left thinking that the business of MFC has lost or has never had the true feeling of the fans on this , every piece of that communication and later justification is all based on the negatives of a no vote and using it to forewarn of times ahead if that is how the vote goes very little (zero) has been communicated if even considered on the negatives of a yes vote (yet ten paragraphs on the ngatives of a no vote ) and more importantly the positives of what a no vote can bring the league and more importantly MFC I think this is what has set off the huge reaction to the statement it is so unbalanced it can only be taken as propaganda towards a yes vote the board think they should get credit for open communication and delivering the strategy leading towards fan ownership, I just hope they don't get so wrapped up in running the club that they forget to give fans credit for weighing up the implications before delivering a resounding no vote
