probably yes and no I dont think the money is ever going to be used 'in advance' in a budgetary sense to take decisions, which in the past was probably more a no speculate to accumulate policy. from what I've seen and heard the money will be used in situations like low cash flow, e,g due to fixture scheduling problems where home games are too far apart from either the schedule or cancellations. Or when the club are awaiting SPL/SFA payments which are seemingly towards the end of the season it would also be used to help work through bad spells when shortfalls occur but the following budget would have to be made to recover the loss and help refund the society to ensure the financial security cushion is ongoing. Don't think it would be used in advance to cover the budget for a no vote, although I'd be happy to help finance like you, but the club will be taking the potential shortfalls into consideration and if it happens maybe some of the society money will be used to trade out the situation if the budget doesn't already allow for a no vote

aye but the champions league group doesn't finish until mid december, thats the joy of the Champions league, nae need to change a Saturday kick off, unless we travel early maybe a couple special request Friday night games

thats just a stupid outlook without even considering the current influences 'that club' have on us, consider the number of players/former players past that have came and joined us it less than 20 miles between the grounds/training parks, direct competition for the young players of the west of Scotland, so if a few of them or their parents choose the superior facilities as a youth, but now find themselves considering actually playing opportunities then as a club it would be crazy to right them off,

Nothing says wages are increasing,but I get the point that investment is being made, the community involvement will generate some income to offset it its a gamble, but well worth taking, the club need to generate players as we've seen we struggle to compete with England on wages let alone paying for players but I don't think it's just about players for the 1st team that this is about, it looks to be another good move to position the club at the centre of the community and possibly further afield, young families with kids involved in already successful but now more professional setup, will only continue to raise the standing of the club and hopefully bring with it good will and support has always got to be balanced with 1st team remaining competitiv though!

yes it all gets sold off and money goes to creditors but there is good chance that it gets sold off to the newco, or to business/benefactors who then lease/give it back to newco

being reported that admin process will take another 8-10 weeks SPL season starts in just over 7 weeks maybe old Rangers will still exist in admin ............... so a vote on newco doesnt happen until ......?

yes it was cleared up at the last meeting, as originally it was only the SPL board that would vote, its now all the SPL clubs, Ross county taking Dunfermlines vote and yes it appears Rangers or newco get to vote on themselves, although hopefully that gets sorted as its baffling that a company who don't exist can vote on anything

yeah its been working fine for me, you should follow it up fatcalf, not so much going up close season but its better than the coverage you get from the mainstream media, and highlights from most matches and U19s, interviews with staff and players etc, well worth it especially if its free! edit: they have a help email on the site that usually gets any problems sorted once you get a support geek thats not straight out of the IT crowd
