  1. to finish third you have to beat fourth , so they highest 4th place points might indicate something 3rd Place & 4th place finishes last 10 years- 10-11 - Hearts - 63 Dundee Utd - 61 09-10 - Utd - 63 Hibs - 54 08-09 - Hearts - 59 Aberdeen - 53 07-08 - Motherwell - 60 Aberdeen - 53 06-07 - Aberdeen - 65 Hearts - 61 05-06 - Rangers - 73 Hibs - 56 04-05 - Hibs - 61 Aberdeen - 61 03-04 - Hearts - 68 Dunfermline - 53 02-03 - Hearts - 63 Kilmarnock - 57 01-02 - Livingston - 58 Aberdeen - 55 62 would have done it any of the last ten seasons, but 54 points would have done a couple of those years
  2. slight mixed messages coming out of Fir Park at the weekend regarding ticketing but as a minimum its worth highlighting that a match abandoned voucher will not get you in on the night it needs to be exchanged at Fir Park for a ticket to get in some explanation here on the official site I'm only looking into this as I'm sure I heard the PA guy, at the weekend, saying the match was going to be all ticket, although that article suggest cash gates as well?
  3. nae doubt sorry for saying it like I seen it
  4. aye sounds about right, few hazey recollections but good to see fellow Wellfans dont hold grudges
  5. but it was controlled , in the sense that it was a choice by Hutch , who had no where else to put it, so directed it towards Randolph, and then Randolph used his hands to deal with it. there would be general meltdown on here, if it was an important decision against us anyone remember back in the day when the rule was introduced, when McCart was it? facing away from goal, had a shocking swipe at a ball on edge of the box and it went 30ft up in the air and back over his head into the box and the keeper picked it up and it was given as a passback
  6. away, Hutch drove it in the direction of Randz (in the middle of our goals), but he had came out his goals to narrow angle and had to pull of a great save to stop it as it was going some. definite passback imho (more like a shot from hutch!), but guess the ref decided otherwise as he had clear view maybes we'll see it on the highlights
  7. Quite clearly Jim deserves his very own tongue in cheek smillie icon, he's got the measure of quite a few on here for sure but at least he asks the questions and sparks debate, and as he's now revealed he knows McCall a few will realise it's no coincidence that Arsenal and Motherwell both have romping wins on the same weekend Both Managers trust Jims judgement

    Morton

Difficult decision....... Defence done their job well, not tested too hard but covered for each other and contributed well to the attacks and goal threat, and Randz had a cracking save from Hutch Midfield were storming, all doing a great job, Las and Jenno worked their socks off and covered the whole pitch leaving Murph and Law to roam, and both did so tremendously well. Thought Higdon had a great game, and was unlucky with a few chances leading to others benefitting and the one near the end which went just over but he contributed so much with knock downs and winning the ball back in midfield Ojamma wins it for having a winning spirit and putting in a shift and a half, someone else mentioned him winning it back on edge of our box at 6 nil up had me off my seat at times Also pleased to see Page and Carswell make good contributions, hope McCall remembers them, instead of moving players out of position
  9. open yir eyes then as I've seen postie at loads of games, does that validate his opinion and right to post queries? Ask Arsene?
  10. just getting online for the 2nd half Delighted confused and gutted at how it's going cant beat 2-0 lead , Craggs having a bad week , and gutted I didnt get my bet on Ojamma to score after getting bet365 to add him to the scorers line at the weekend
  11. yeah reckon that might be it, having checked paypal, not sure when payment is requested but my card changed at the weekend, I've posted a 'contact us' email asking for it to be looked at and re-requested if thats the case cheers, hopefully get it sorted for Tuesday
  12. right what do you do when you log in , and it says welcome back but then tells you 'you do not have an active subscription' 'you have to purchase a subscription to view this content' and it says that on every video I try
  13. Nah your right, but WTF do you expect from a club with operates on probably one of the bottom three budgets in the SPL, a club with no owner and very little reserve funds, need I go on? top 6 is an achievment Motherwell fans have been fucking spoiled with relative success PS fitba is still too feckin expensive PPS I'm getting fuckin sick of people blaming the forum users for the negativity when its only a handful of fucking roasters that are negative, most forum users are fairly neutral or heading towards happy clapper territory thats why we waste so much fuckin time on Motherwell fukity fuck fuck!!!

    Randolph

his tweets were nothing to do with abuse just my interpretation (and probably that of most that read them) is that he expects to be back down South with his mates 'soon' (could just be teasing or even planning a short break, but it is transfer window time and we have a pretty full match schedule) if it does happen, I doubt the decision will be due to one twat or even a few, it'll be a professional move nothing else

    Randolph

his last few tweets would indicate we'll not have to worry about him smacking the twat in the Cooper but maybes Hollis or Bradley will get to do it
  16. See I looked at that thread and it a perfect example of the posters I mention, that thread opens with a question, and is then clarified that its a question, a somewhat sensationalist question but a question no less. and dare I say it the type of question that draws out both extremes from the happy clappers and the self abusing pant wetters but all the keyboard warriors dont read it and just go off on one bashing away at the negative button and shouting responses.
  17. Quite a lot of it does, there have been some pretty poor away performances showing all the same problems that are apparent at Fir Park in a couple of the away games the players have just managed to snatch a victory, Everyone will be happy to finish in a Euro spot, some will be happy in top 6, others might even just be happy to avoid the drop zone but too many people are using the current position to shout down posters who are quite often raising valid concerns about performances, individuals getting easy rides week in week out, lack of development of fringe players (the basis the club is modelled on?), lack of controlled passion from individuals and tactics that dont even challenge the opposition whilst promoting all our own weaknesses etc admittedly those that raise the concerns often do it in the style of Corporal Jones or indeed and knuckle dragging domestic abuser, but on the internet its all too easy to judge folk on a few sentences, having been away, its actually harder to find discussions on actual good and bad points on games due to all the posts decrying other posters questioning performances. the manager needs to step up and sort out at least a few of the issues, that have been apparent for a few months we all know we are not entitled to victories, but it would be nice to see tactics to challenge the opposition and we sure as hell deserve to see players on the pitch, with drive and determination and showing their talents that got them here, if they're on a bad run of form or have off field issues, then the fringe players deserve their chance too. Delighted we're in 4th, but lets not kid ourselves, a lot of the performances have been dire to watch/suffer, problems need addressed (on a shoestring) to hold onto it. PS at least after years of throwing cash away on the pitch in now seems to be well laid
  18. was saddened to hear of Mr Bill Dickie passing away during the week, my condolences go out to his close friends and family, Motherwell Football club has lost a few great servants in recent years, fans who got to live a little part of a dream, giving time and passion to help shape the club into what it is I never had many dealings with him, and I'm sure he's disagreed with many a wellfan on certain matters in the past, but as others have said he was always there or thereabouts for functions or matches and was always happy to chat about all things MFC and as Andy P mentioned earlier, he went out his way at new Love St. earlier in the season to save some random wellfans a few quid as well as taking a few moments to help encourage another youngster. RIP Bill
  19. any word on when/if these are going to publish/ship for those that paid up front?
