  1. I thought it looked quite a big crowd, and said so early doors O'Donnell stand had a lot more than normal East was certainly much busier, with 5 sections from south end all 70-80% full, much more than Saturday and Cooper looked fairly busy whilst not packed so 6500-7000 quite possible
  2. sadly none of us know, for sure, from tonights game, if Friday football is a bonus or just another game that some can make whilst others cannot I'm not really for moving games, as I think messing with the schedules is one of the own goals that SPL is guilty off If they were incorporated into a fixed schedule, I could see it working what I will say is , having went to the Phil O'Donnell stand after seeing pretty huge queues waiting on Knowetop for the East I was certainly aware of a number of punters in 'because' it was Friday night, some albeit only there in conjunction with the reduced prices a Dad with his two weeyins paid £20, talked to him about a Cooper half season ticket and he was interested but they kids are just too wee to commit and he wouldn't expose them to an old firm game, so less 'value' 6, maybe 7, former regulars from Uddingston who , had made a Friday night of it and looked as tho' they had made the most of the extra 45 mins drinking when I seen them in the local later I'll ask them next time if it was the timing or the prices that brought them back as a group? a number of footballing 'professionals' were in as well, dunno' if they paid in but they were just seated with pals/punters and spending in kiosks etc I dare say a number of folk gave it a go as a Friday night experiment, but was it the prices/freebies that gave it the real boost, I think so, but with some different punters giving it a go also for the timing lets just hope it doesn't hurt the loyal supporters those in charge up by keep saying they are going to look after
  3. as soon as I heard Fire, first person I thought of no smoke without and all that
  4. I wondered who had negatived PostieJims post , Typical! EDIT: >>>>>>>>
  5. away to the pub with a smile now Nope, they were PATG same as any other punter walking up yip Jenno would have walked MOTM again, the only one, truly up for it AND switched on
  6. surely not unless it was all ticket and they had bought original tickets at Easter road, meaning they could get sent vouchers they had a decent crowd through and were in good voice from what I seen/heard Deserve vouchers as much as anyone 'who paid' into ground
  7. Terrible again, hard to say what/why it looks so bad at home very frustrating to see Craggs and Hutch have to pass ball sideways from edge of centre cirlce as only player more than 15 yards in front of them is Higdon far too deep far too often, seems to be an instruction, particularly concerning how its quite often Murph and Law in our half collecting the ball fuckin atrocious schoolboy errors again conceding the goal Club/services handled the incident fairly well, I wasn't aware of the constable innes? code to make all parties aware there was a major incident beckoning but seems good practice so as not to spook crowd. although tannoy announcing season ticket holders use voucher for rearranged fixture is a bit risky as I reckon most season ticket holders will also have picked up Orange ticket, might be a bigger crowd for it Hope the fella in the Cooper is OK, nothing to do with the abandonment afaik did I say fukin shite defending best result we could hope for is the abandonment, no team at present
  8. dont think there will be any, as I dont think it will be getting beamed live anywhere as such, just recorded locally for highlights live audio at MFCtv or possibly radio scotland if you can get a proxy
  9. its alright Fatcalf will be along in a minute and get the whole family to log in and vote gonna be quite skewed as it is only really representative of steelmenonline users as opposed to 'Well fans but it'll be interesting in a sad kinda way
  10. Good effort, nae doubt the troops from the peoples free republic of EK and Blantyre will be along to complain just now but you've covered a fair whack
  11. I as a rough guess I probably know more than 150-200 wellfans by name, and only about 10-20 of them reside in Motherwell so I have nae doubt in my mind you are wrong Edit: would be an interested viewer if the club could publish a population map from the infamous database of supporters, but since we have staff working horrendous hours just to keep the place ticking over I'm happy for us all to just have opinions on it for now
  12. typical was waiting on that, somebody questions Humphrey and you bring Murphy into it in fact all of that is a load of nonsense it wasn't awful without him, we won 2-1 it was fuckin awful when he came back in, I'm not saying it was his fault just pointing out your spouting pish Saunders or Clancy and Hately work best together on the right hand side because as you point out Hately can deliver a cross more often than Humphrey Typical PS Motherwell 2 Hibs 2 (Hutch n Hump)
  13. You can see it, Dave can see it, I can see it and agree in full, but the man that matters and has us in third position obviously doesn't think thats whats holding him back, but surely he is equally as concerned that a few players are going backwards under his spell in charge (or maybe he just thinks they are pish!)
  14. so Murphy has been playing just wherever the hell he fancies popping up
  15. been a regular in a team thats currently third in the league 7 points clear of 4th. miles away from what he's capable off, form wise, but so have a few others been at times. shame, think what could have been
  16. it was used in all the pre season games I think

  18. Brazilian

    Dundee Utd

Jennings will likely walk it as he stood out for 90mins Higdon contributed so much today he should be a close second, its hard to see where his detractors get their ammunition from but still so many were vocal
  19. was dissapointed when I seen it, not in any way a reflection of what I pictured to reflect Phil O'Donnell I pictured simple solid lettering LEGEND 10 so the 'zaney'? lettering with what looks like a collander looks miles out and I was never aware a dragonfly was significant to the family but even up close its hardly stands out but on listening in to the words from Eileen O'Donnell which were read out, the family seems to have been happy to have input into the design and their thoughts and feelings are the most important
  20. we can expect MJC to start posting again then edit: just checked in case he's died and nobody had put it on the pan bried thread, he's online quite a lot but hasn't had anything to say for a while
