The manager is still learning on who can do what. Patience. Pre season is all about fitness and trying things.

Think today just confirmed what we knew about certain individuals. Balmer, O'Donnell, Wilson should not be near the first team. Gordon is not a ball passing defender. We need an enforcer in the middle of the park, and more pace up front.

Given its our first game of the pre season under a new manager against a quality team, we have done ok, especially in that heat. We could have battered a non league team and learned nothing. Playing against this mob should be a good schooling. Its obvious we need reinforcements up front, with pace. Wilson at left back is still questionable it seems.

Staff come and go at our football club. Some sooner than we would have liked. We go on as always. Modern football is a farce.

It was an easier 2nd half for him. As killies threat disappeared and he did not have to defend, especially in the air. He almost got caught out with another long ball over the top of him tho. He seems to struggle to read the game and has poor positional sense. To his credit it was a fine cross for the goal. He's fine as a squad player, but not a starter next season please.

Armstrong got some decent service for a change which helped. He offers something, but maybe there is better out there. Watt would be ok as a 10 or attacker wide left. But we have Maswanhise for that, tho does not work as hard as Watt. AP did score goals, but suffered from lack of service.

That's some penalty county got to relegate st johnstone. Just had to be var that decided the relegation battle outcome.

We improved with two up front and a proper central attacker. Wilson at left wing back won't do. Constantly playing safe and passing back to Seddon. Without Slattery we would struggle to create.
