Celtic want £25m for Tiermey who has and continues to have injury problems. Would be extremely disappointed if our club renegotiates. As i said get him back in a well shirt. Sod the money. We can always sell someone else down the line for mega bucks.
-
Maybe in the Turnbulls interest for our club to say you dont need this crap and pull out of the deal. Get him back playing, perhaps another new contract and see where we are in a season. Turnbull wants to play. May as well be here where he will be appreciated.
-
Would have been nice for an opening home game for once. Fine margins in this league and an away game to start is never easy.
-
Maybe Turnbull did not want to move at this stage, as he was guaranteed to play every game, but realised that the transfer fee was huge for us, so has reluctantly decided to move on. His options seem limited for continually to play every 1st team game and has decided celtic might be best at current time.
-
Maybe Busta is being highly influenced by the celtic mind pr machine being cranked up in the media, lol. Hopefully young David goes to a place where he will play regular football.
-
Anyhow £200k is a pathetic amount given modern day transfer dealings, especially involving english clubs given the money they continue to receive from sky and the various sponsers. It would seem strange to settle for less for an established 1st team player, than what we have agreed to release youth players who have not played a 1st team game.
-
To sell for 200k, if true, you would think the sell on percentage would need to be pretty high, to recoup even just his true value. Surely settling for such a low amount, is dangerous to other transfer dealings with other out of contract players.

Hopefully David the motherwell fan comes to the sensible decision and knocks them back. Will he get regular starts with them? This must be an incredible offer from celtic, because is this not against our policy of selling to english clubs with sell on fees.

Re lighter. If ref does his job and insist the throw in is taking from correct place, then the incident probably does not happen. Rangers have done nothing and weve gifted them two goals. -
Getting beat at Celtic Park is now a sackable offence??? We be as well just packing it in now......

2018’19 Game 18:Celtic (A) Wednesday 19th December 2018

The old firm at their homes is now extremely difficult to get anything other than a skelping. Just need to ask a good in form killie team about that. Players have made mistakes tonight, and we've been punished. Which is hardly the fault of the manager, tho the usual suspects who having been posted missing on Sat. will ignore and again put the boot in. -
not saying its right, but I can see why the players might have chucked it with Thompson in charge and yet another questionable penalty and red card. Think its time our club had a serious go publicly at the referees chief/sfa about Thompson's crusade against our club. As someone said prior to the match, it was a nap that Rangers would get a penalty and we would have a player sent off today. Scottish football is predictable, corrupt, pathetic and going backwards.

thank the lord that things are not going well tonight, the pessimists have been at a loss recently. -
given the mess our defence and team in general were when he was injured, you would think unless its stupid money million plus, then it really is an easy decision to say no thanks. They have plenty of money, and good back up keepers. Hope we have a list of decent goalies available to replace him should he eventually goes as some point in the future.
-
So yet again a potential signing is written off before he's even taken the field. Will we never learn? Perhaps, those obviously more knowledgeable than our manager and scouting team wish to advice of more desirable signings within our budget range, that actually want to play for us.

This thread is utter nonsense.

Having a browse , it would appear he's a hard working team player who can hold up the ball, but his finishing needs to improve. Confidence and injuries seem to have hindered his progress.

Scottish Premiership Game 19: Dundee (H) 23/12/17 15:00
Orinoco replied to Yabba's Turd's topic in Club Chat
Perhaps we were unlucky with injuries. Good effort to get back into the game and then gain a point when we were up against it. Just goes to show with our best players on the park even when only half fit we are still at least a match for most sides. There is very little between most sides in this league. -

the usuals with their ultra we are doomed. Seems there is no middle ground. There's a long way to go till end of season. A transfer window to address problems, players returning from injury, and form refound. We have no right what so ever to expect to beat any team on their own patch especially given the problems we have just now. Lets just chill, and look forward to see what happens. Quick question, if individuals predict a defeat, and we got beat, can they really show outrage and rant when we do?
