  1. Could be wrong, but I thought oxborough was glued to his line, much like Kelly in the cup games. For a big lad, I don't think he was commanding. Maybe he was following orders. Its surely something the goalie coach should be looking at.
  2. Modern life is rubbish eh. People don't have any patience anymore and everything needs to happen now for their own benefit and apparent well being. Social media helps the minority to whip up a crisis, when in the past it was a blip. Club success anywhere rarely happens overnight and managers need time to build a team, especially clubs who don't have much money. Every teams fans forum, say the same. Sack. The manager as he's hopeless etc etc. Perhaps we can be different for once and our fan base can be a bit more realistic about our level in the game and support the manager/players.
  3. Apart from setplays, st johnstone offered nothing in attack. We generally tried to play through them, but until Gent arrived on the field we failed to create anything for the front two. Gents arrival injected width and pace. Play was then stretched which suited us. The team has character, but players need to be more switched on and take responsibility in defence, by attacking the ball. As much as some here will not like it, we ain't any worse or better than many teams in this league. Luck plays a big part when teams are similar.
  4. now that we are scoring goals, any chance lads we can stop conceding soft goals from crosses.
  5. take it wee davor is pants. we need some energy in the middle
  6. starting to get decisions from the referee.
  7. put their defence under pressure, and they will concede.
  8. st johnstone have offered nothing going forward, bar two crosses and their defence is comical. They have the luck tho.
  9. a foul is a foul irrespective if hes looking for it...
  10. Get the ball to wilkinson in the box and he will score. Outside the box hes useless.
  11. At the end of the day, its a game of football. Why a few bad results, when we were playing well, should suddenly impact experienced players to the extent all confidence has gone and bad result snowball is beyond me. Two crosses into the six yard box, and we lose two goals. Maybe instead of trying to walk the ball into the net, have a few attempts at goal from outside the area.
  12. To be fair to the manager, its the big defenders who can't defend two punts into the box to blame.
  13. Nope, not going to happen tonight. Ball not falling for us.
  14. When your lucks down... Nice break of ball for them. They've hardly needed to do anything to be 2 up
  15. Using the shoulders to climb and hold you opponent down is not a foul. Var get to feck
  16. Have we been var'd again? Seems proper checks are not being made at critical points.
  17. The bottom line our so called senior players have no professional pride. Hammell's loyalty to them is fool hardy. Scottish football stinks to the core, and why anyone would spend money watching is beyond me.
  18. Bluenoses having a poor game against heroes.....
  19. Losing three goals to 10 men is poor what ever way you look at it. We need a proper defensive midfield player who's mobile. Gordon should have been off, and hearts down to 9 men. Massive advantage.. For all of the var hype, it is only highlighting how bloody awful our officials are. If the officials on the pitch don't know the rules, var officials should be correcting decisions like Gordon's lack of 2nd yellow. That decision was a game changer. Every game fans who did not want var, expect var to check for errors are now baffled by inconsistent or lack of checks. Now we have double feck ups by the officials. Scottish football is a joke and going nowhere.
  20. Scottish football is really really bad, even with the city teams spending money on players. Aberdeen did nothing in that second half, other than go forward once and score. Hats off to them right enough, but they like us are going nowhere.
