seems we've had alot of the game, especially this half and theyve sneaked it, just like so many other Killie teams over the years at Fir Park! Seems it was a headed goal from close range, so who lost their marker? looking at the table now, i think we will be doing well to get 6th, which realisticly aint bad, tho the club have let slip a good position higher up the league due to mistakes.
-
so where's the market for lumping cash on for a Jennings sending off
-
do you honestly think that the money saved at this transfer window will be added to monies allocated in the summer? if we drop down a few places, that summer budget will be alot less. Seems were are now constantly cutting back and hoping the youngsters at the club can deliver. Not saying they cant, but its a gamble. Sunday's performance lifted the fans slightly, but a return to the boring SPL matches without any further new additions, will only ensure that the apathy surrounding some of our support will only get worse i believe. As things stand we are now a further two players down in our squad. We needed a front man, and it looks as if that opportunity had passed us by. Just need to pray that neither Sutton or Murphy get injured or suspended....

i would dispute the cross should not come in, it was a good bit of skill by the Rangers player to get the ball in. He was never going to score, and there was only Naysmith in the box. Mark him and they dont score. I aint anti anyone, just pointing out that an experienced player when it mattered did not do the basic thing and mark an opponent. Apart from his distribution, which we all know aint that good, he was solid. Thats why Craigan plays for us and not a bigger team. You cant blame fans for being frustrated and critical with an experienced player after such a good team effort. He is costing us more and more goals as times go on, and unlike Hutchison & Saunders, he does not offer any goal threat at the other end to make up for those mistakes.
-
aye but when it mattered who lost their man?
-
to be fair to craigan, saunders distribution was just as bad.
-
it was craigan. he had him then allowed him to pull off him into space. overall we passed the ball extremely well, defended solidly, got beat by a wonder goal and a slip of concentration when it matters. Mind you that is why Rangers spend the millions on front men to be that little bit better. If we can add a mobile version of sutton, we will be ok.
-
proud of the performance from the lads and gutted for them. Jennings & Lasley were superb in the middle of the park. It was a shame that Craigan lost his man cheaply for their 2nd goal tho, as i thought he and hutchison were solid at the back.
-
either calculation. it is extra money, but whether mccall will see it is very doubtful
-
would it not be more than that? say 38000 + 20000 = 58000 x £15 = £870,000 / 4 = £217,500 obviously costs, tax, vat are deducted plus we'll surely get prize money of some sort
-
You cant use the played out of position card for Craigan. He's made mistakes all through his career. Mind you in his defence so has every other player in our team at some point. I am sure Craigan and the management will know when his time is up, and they wont need us telling him, tho it's tempting
-
Looking at the Derby site, they appear to be trying to bring in a striker (Sammon been quoted), as they dont rate Porter and seems surplus to requirements. Could he be on his way back here? who knows, just need to wait and see. 3 and a bit days to go....
-
youve got to wonder why we did sign him.
-
pulling out of challenges, not going flat out etc etc You would think we had a semi final to play on Sunday just saw the highlights and in particular the penalty. What was Craigan doing? Rather than attack the ball, he decides to turn away from the ball and jump into the Saints player, arm first at neck level. Mental decision especially from an experienced player.
-
Hibs being the exception then!
-
would also add "bad day at office"
-
is it right that we had 63% of possession? End of the day we got beat with debatable penalty decision. Going by recent results in Perth, it seems like it's a difficult place to get points, whether thats down to an improvement to saints defence, or more likely very poor pitch even things up.
-
It's another crossroads game. Will probably tell us whether we will be pushing up or dropping down the league. We cant seem to cope with Hibs at all. Hibs will play for a draw, as they cant afford to lose. We will huff and puff, and then Riorden will score and that will be that sadly.

What is it about the old boys club in Scotland? Thought with the appointment of McCall, we might have seen something different.
-
got to welcome new faces comming into an extremely light squad. Whilst i understand our younger players need game time, hence loans out, we probably wont get a better opportunity than this season to blood more of them in OUR first team. Our squad is not the biggest hence todays signings, so it seems strange to weaken it almost instantly by sending two out. Seems it's a balancing of books situation to me.
-
the signing of a 34 year old experienced pro, and the loaning out of two of our younger players for them to get experience. Just goes to show that even a 12 team league is apparently no place (unless it's a last resort) to blood youngsters and give them a chance. I do wonder how this would be reversed in a 10 team league
-
think i will watch more of the u19s now! at least thats free, and it's more or less going to be our first team anyhow
-
McCall has got an impossible job if you ask me. We've lost 4 players from a squad, where we could ill afford to lose anyone. Yes, those that left had questionable ability, but trying to replace them at this stage of the season is difficult, as there wont be that many free transfers available. The chances are his wages budget is less than what Brown had to deal with.
-
you've got to ask why? they seem to be making the same mistakes over and over again.
-
you are right about a fine line, however, with that many individuals stating they are on the verge of turning their back on the club, can the club afford not to show even the slightest bit of ambition? As for the pitch, are the drains goosed again? Re Transfer Monies, noone expects us to buy anyone, but it would have been nice to use part of the monies to fund another player in addition to the player on reynolds wages. Thought that was the whole idea of trying to get rid of Reynolds pronto.
