Does anyone know how many appearances Fitzpatrick has he had in the team at his preferred position, that could be classed as a run? Until such time that a better player for that position appears, and that could be for anyone in the team, should we not just try and give him/them abit of encouragement.

give him his own talk show!

Utd value Goodwillie at £1.5m Just hope we've got Murphy on a good long long contract, as he's a much better footballer.
-
he also said the distribution of monies should be more equally spread. So i guess he has been reading this forum. The SPL is slowly starting to crumble, with more chairman speaking out. They just need to back up their voices with actions now. Better not hold my breath on that.

i think his attitude on and especially off the pitch is known to many within the game by all accounts.

very good performance and result today. Big pat in the back to all the players, staff and fans who attended today. What a difference playing players in the correct positions i.e. murphy & sutton Get the sutton signed up.

Drastic times perhaps mean drastic actions. Setup a league structure without the old firm! With their greed and bigotry, they've destroyed the game in Scotland. This is perhaps the motion the fans of teams outwith the old firm should push for. 1st Division clubs survive and seem to serve up a reasonable level of football, without the additional monies from sky and espn. Our clubs need to stop playing keeping up with the English. Never going to happen. Accept we are small fry, cut our cloth accordingly, intrust the youths, and start again.

we've heard this all before! wont be long until our first team is our u19s

i am not overly confident any transfer income, or freeing up of wages, will result in new players. Budget seems to be constantly being cut. Sooner or later we will suffer for it. I would not let Reynolds go for anything less than £175k. Hibs just sold a similar donkey for £250k. Remember we've been promised players in the past if they get past a certain round etc etc I am at the stage of not believing anything relating to Scottish Football until anything has been proven!

the player is entitled to go where he likes, but you would think out of respect of the players that have helped him at Fir Park, he would decline a move to any other SPL club.
-
since it's all about the money, perhaps the club would like to comment on the appalling decision to continually allow the old firm to collect 80% of media monies. For me that is more of an issue than trying to squeeze a few extra pounds out of the old firm fan.

bring back live cup draws on the radio after the games on a sat.

i wonder if the distribution of TV monies was discussed? after all money is their only motivation.

would like to know how he calculated the £1m loss, given we seldom get anywhere near a sellout when the old firm come calling. Is he saying that £1m/4 home games against old firm = £250000 per game? With new format that would mean by his calculations = £250000 x 2 = £500k so only a £500k loss?? I reckon we were lucky if we made £125k at the last Rangers game figures dont add up unsuprisingly. p.s. reading back it would need to be £500k a game presently. Madness.

but as others have said once you give them your money, they are are NOT interested in what you have to say! the fans are quick to say the clubs should sacrifice for the good of the game, but fans won't sacrifice attendance in fear of damaging their clubs. Go figure that?
-
never going to happen, as many fans will not want to harm their own respective club! But for the good of the game, it should happen.
-
cant be bothered with this SPL nosense anymore! maybe we should all just attend our clubs youth games. More entertaining, different and honesty on show.

effort and tackling? someone forgot to tell/show our players??

Disagree about Blackman. It would be mental to not to try and keep him until end of season, given the amount of goals he's scored. He's had no service recently, and appears to be carrying an injury. Fitzpatrick from the little showings hes had this season, has been solid, and given that hes probably on peanuts as wages, would keep him until end of season, and see how things go, before deciding. Reynolds needs to move for his benefit and ours. Dont know what to make of Craigan. Ive said it before, for such an experienced player, his form is so up and down. Probably always been that way mind you. Given that Reynolds has went backwards, then perhaps Craigan as a future coach is also a no no. Nice bloke no doubt, but again might be better all round if he moved on. Gow tries to be to clever far to often. Needs to learn to be a team player. Dont think he has the pace to succeed up front, and lacks strength to play deeper on each wing. His only position would probably be behind a front two, much like Forbes. But we dont play that way, so its a wage that could be redirected to a left midfield player, thats been missing for years now. Sutton has been dropped recently, perhaps hes told the club hes away in the summer. He offers alot up FRONT, not wide left. Would try and keep him.

If form has deserted some players, then you would expect them to work harder. But recent efforts would indicate an attitude problem. Are the players in the huff? Given the age of the team surely the senior players have some influence. So if there is an attitude problem, as it appears, then could that be down to Craigan who is the most senior player and club captain. You would think that if his attitude is right then by leading by example the rest would follow. The players are better than recent showings, and it's time they rolled up the sleeves and got on with it.

Result will depend on the players attitude, and a little bit of luck that we are due against this shower. lets get into them in a safe manner, Remember who's the ref!
-
I liked McCall as a player, and hope he can instill the same hunger, drive and passion into our players. Don't know anything about his tacticable ability, but hopefully with a good experienced assistant/s we will do fine. Good luck Stuart.

if they are asking us, rather than tellin us, means they have little to go on. SFA are certainly dragging this out, with little progress it would seem. Just another media outlay running a bad news story on the day it should have been good publicity for the club.
