i wonder what the we fall out was between agent and player? could it be agent was not happy player chose football over money? anyhow good player to resign. im sure we will bring in another one or two loan signings. The playing budget might be the same in financial terms, but like every other season, numbers are down. In the past we've been lucky that Saunders, Hutchison and Murphy have managed to step up to the senior level. I'm not so sure we have anyone else who is ready. Big ask to go through another season without major injuries and suspensions. So as of now, are we still awaiting a natural left sided midfield player or not?

What is it about motherwell fans wanting to flog our best players for peanuts? Murphy is one of our most talented and important players. Utd want £2m for Goodwillie, and quite right, given the stupid valuations down south, i.e. snodgrass, Mccormack etc aint any better than Goodwillie or Murphy.

Probably Gunning he wants back. As for Murphy, the link to Palace has been there for a while now, and looking at their fans websites seems it's a possible. If he goes, i hope we get good money for him and a good sell on percentage built into the deal. But i wont hold my breath on that! You've got to wonder what the club is going to do with all this money comming in, i.e cup football rewards, top six finnish, selling best players. Remember thats another season of experience under the belts of Saunders, Hateley & Hutchinson. Considering these guys to an extent have been thrown in at the deep end theyve done not to badly. Sure, we've lost alot of goals of late, but the players have played alot of games in recent seasons, and are probably jaded. With no European distractions, and hopefully a fully recharged and determined squad, much the same as this season, then we will do ok next season. Has Craigan's form been that much different than previous seasons? He seems to have always had good and bad spells each season. Perhaps start with Saunders and Hutchinson with Craigan as back up. Tho, how happy he would be with that... Outwith the old firm and perhaps Hearts (i.e. the big player budget clubs) who's a better left back than Hammell? At the end of every season, we always have a thread where someone states we need this position filled. God knows how long we've waited for a left side midfield player! We do need more a goalscoring threat from midfield. But then everyone is looking for that player. Suppose we will just need to sit and wait to see what unfolds.

Good point about blacklisting those that either supplied the tickets to the celtic fans or the actual individuals themselves. I had two sat right beside me for the first half. Had my suspicions from the off, but was only able to confirm when the lassie picked up a bag under her seat which what looked like a celtic top in it! I can supply their seating numbers if the club want, and i am sure other can do like wise. It might not be a huge issue, but what happens the next time they use a ballot, and those two are listed as genuine fans? How they managed to get past police and stewards and carry the bag into our end is beyond a joke. Not as if there was not spare seats away from our fans. As for buses, organised chaos springs to mind. The culprits being the police. Is it so hard to ensure all buses are located in same area, after all they were quick enough to ensure we followed a set route to the stadium. Total lottery i am sure for many in finding their buses.

Disappointing result and performance. But it's still been a good season!! The goals we conceeded were soft. First the boy should have been closed down sooner, much like the rangers semi final in the league cup. Tho, it was still a wonder shot. Second, poor marking cost us and unlucky deflection Third, the wall was not right, whether that was down to Randolph or the wall not listening, either way there was a huge gap for Mulgrew to hit it, and he did not unsuprisingly. At one nil, on another day the ball that hit the bar goes in, the referee sends the Celtic boy off for a second bookable offence, and the deflection does not happen. Our center midfield sat to deep, and to far away to support Sutton, thus Celtic picked up the second ball all day long. The movement up field, especially down our left flank was non existant. It was as if the team had played a game to many, Alot of weary looking players. We lost, but hopefully if we learn from it, the players can back stronger, assuming some of them hang about. Can anyone exlplain to me why individuals wore a half celtic, and half motherwell scarf? and then sit in the motherwell end. Does anyone think they could do that in the Celtic end? I should add that i thought Celtic pressed us high up the park, and we could not cope with that.

I got a phone call, but declined the tickets as i was already sorted. So they are getting there with this time consuming and difficult job. Being constructive, you would think they could have crossed checked the details on the form that season ticket holders had completed, when getting their upto four tickets, to see if any names matched those on the ballot request. Unless of course forms are sitting in a big cardboard box in the corner for processing in another year!

Tonights game was just another run out to get out of the way. It seems to me that the players have been up for the cups, more than the league this season. Perhaps, the bonus money is better and because alot of them reckon or know they wont be here next season. Where was Murphy?

Think we need to score first, otherwise they will just sit back and pick us off. We really owe them after the recent semi final and hammerings, and hope the team go at them from the first minute to last. The pressure is all on them, so you never know. fingers crossed that the referee has a decent game by playing it fair. To think that Mr Tumility was once my manager in a previous life! if only i had known at the time of his intentions to referee in the SPL, i could have provided him with our special claret and amber tinted specs.

RE the ballot, they are going to cross match what exactly? We all know that mentaining databases has never been the clubs strongest point. For example, when i went to purchase tickets for the european games, the accuracy of the personal information being inputed into their computer left alot to be desired. It was if the information being noted was not that important, and was only being processed as the authorities insisted on it. It's not beyond the possibility that the ballot requests run into the thousands, so how are they going to cope with that? Maybe they should start to cross match now! as leaving it until only 12 days prior to the final is going to to cause major problems for the club and those awaiting confirmation that they will get a ticket. p.s. any season ticket holders from falkirk or west lothian want to adopt a non season ticket occasional attendee?
