The problem with O'donnell is he does not have the legs to play the position he is being asked to do. With the system we play we need pace out wide. The young guys on the bench apparently offer that, but I guess we will have to wait until Christmas to see them. O'donnell moved back and first thing he does is stand deeper than other center backs. That's what players with lack of pace do.

And now kettlewell reverts to his usual 1 up front. Halliday should have been off for Wells. How can a new striker settle in if he gets no service and then taken from field.

We badly need pace in the wing back areas to push them back and open up space. Wilson is ok but reluctantly takes on his man, and seems to be safety first and play it back. O'donnell is offering nothing. Halliday is being played in a position he can't control things. Wells would have been a better option instead of halliday. Kettlewell loyality to certain players and reluctance to give the new signings a chance against a team in division down is madness. Until we get the right players out wide, it's going to be a long season.

Sure there is procedures, but being civil upto now has got us into this mess. Time for the owner, the society to flex its muscles and take proper control.
